The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Thursday, December 24, tease that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will visit Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) at Newman Enterprises, where Victoria will be busy working and not in the Christmas spirit.
Nikki will share that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) agreed to the London trip, and Victoria will say that it should be a Merry Christmas now that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is out of their lives and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is free.
Inside Crimson Lights, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will call Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), all worried that the jeweler won’t have gotten Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) gift done in time.
And on the patio, Summer will call Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), all worried that the jeweler won’t have gotten Kyle’s gift ready in time. Summer and Kyle will then bump into each other, both still worried about their Christmas gifts.
Over at the Grand Phoenix, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and Billy will be happy after spending the night together. Billy and Lily will talk about how their relationship is progressing, and Lily will share that she’s going to go see her kids in New York soon.
Billy will realize that they have time for dinner, and he’ll shower while Lily finds her Christmas present from Billy tucked under a pillow.
The present will be a beautiful bracelet, and Lily will rush out to pick up her gift for Billy. Lily will return shortly and give Billy his gift – a scarf.
Over in Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) suite, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will be there to pick up Amanda for their trip to Wilmette to meet Naya Benedict (Ptosha Storey), Amanda’s birth mother.
Devon and Amanda will go back and forth about whether Amanda should call before she visits Naya, and they’ll play out the possible scenarios that could happen. Ultimately, Amanda will decide to just get in the car and go.
Meanwhile down in the lobby of the hotel, Summer and Kyle will bump into each other again, and each will be expecting a delivery from the jeweler.
Summer will be the first to spill that she was going to add the diamonds from her necklace to Kyle’s tie clip, and then Kyle will share that he was going to have the emerald from his tie clip split and have one of the stones put in her necklace.
Suddenly, Summer and Kyle’s deliveries will arrive, and the gifts will have turned out perfectly.
At the Abbott mansion, Jack will flash back to when Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) told him that her memory would go, but that she loves him now and always. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will arrive, as will Nikki and Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
Nikki will share her plans to go to New York and attend Noah Newman’s (Robert Adamson) new art installation.
Sally will gush over Ashley and Nikki, and soon Summer and Kyle will arrive unexpectedly. Summer won’t be happy to see Sally, but she’ll make the best of it and she and Kyle will thank Jack for the help with their respective Christmas gifts.
Later, after Nikki, Summer, and Kyle take off, Jack, Ashley, and Sally will toast to a Merry Christmas, and the camera will pan to a photo of Dina with Jack, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland), Abby Newman-Abbott-Chandler (Melissa Ordway), and Ashley.
In Wilmette, Illinois, Devon and Amanda will sit in the car outside Naya’s home, which will look quite expensive. “My mother’s in that house,” Amanda will say. Amanda will try to call Naya first, but the calls will go straight to voicemail.
Suddenly, a young woman will approach the door of the house, and she’ll call out, “Hey, Mom, open the door!” Naya will open the door to the daughter, as Amanda watches very upset.
Amanda will get back in the car, noting that the young woman was Naya’s daughter – the one that she raised with love – the one that she wanted. Devon will say that he’s there for Amanda, and Amanda will say that she just wants to go home.
At Society, Billy and Lily will sit in the lounge area for pre-dinner drinks. Victoria will walk in, and Billy and Lily will ask her to join them. Victoria will balk, but they’ll insist, and Victoria will seem bothered by their relationship.
Soon, Victoria will get a call and she’ll have to go back to the office to handle a crisis. Billy and Lily will continue their great evening together.
Back at the Grand Phoenix, Summer and Kyle will return to their suite, with Summer upset over seeing Sally earlier. Summer will quickly forget all about Sally when she opens the door and finds a romantic set up complete with champagne in the room.
Summer and Kyle will enjoy their champagne and toast to a Merry Christmas.
Finally, back at Newman Enterprises, Victoria will arrive and get right to work as she’s on the phone with Nikki. Nikki will urge Victoria to come spend the evening at the ranch with the kids.
Victoria won’t seem in the holiday spirit at all, but then she’ll look at a photo of the kids on the desk, and she’ll grab her coat and leave.
