The Young and the Restless Spoilers Recap: Thursday, November 12 - Adam Confronts Chelsea - Chance In Distress - Phyllis Busts Hungover Faith

The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Thursday, November 12, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will hear from Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) about Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) being the #1 suspect in Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) shooting.

Victor won’t believe that Adam did it, and he’ll race out of Society to track down Paul Williams (Doug Davidson).

After Victor leaves, Nick and Victoria will discuss Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) kidnapping, hoping that she’ll eventually testify against Adam and put him away.

Then Victoria will ask Nick to have Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) call her about their business collaboration between Newman Enterprises and the Grand Phoenix.

At the hospital, Chance will be happy to see Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), and when Abby mentions that Adam is the #1 suspect in his shooting, Chance will want to see Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) asap.

When Rey arrives, Chance will explain that Adam wasn’t the shooter, and that Adam was actually the intended target.

At Adam’s penthouse, Adam will text someone telling them to get rid of all evidence from Newman Tower. Young Adam (Dane West) will appear, saying that he wants Adam to stop hurting people.

“Promise me it’s over,” Young Adam will say, as Adam ruminates to himself about how he’s covered all his tracks, but that Chelsea will never trust him again.

In Chancellor Park, a hungover Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will be sitting on a bench when Phyllis walks up and learns that Faith took the day off of school because she’s not feeling well.

As Phyllis and Faith are talking, Jordan (Madison Thompson) will notice them from afar but she’ll keep her distance. Faith will tell Phyllis that she’s headed to Crimson Lights to see her mom, and Phyllis will go.

Jordan will then walk over, and it will be established that Faith drank too much the night before and that Jordan has just skipped algebra. Phyllis will walk up with some water for Faith and she’ll meet Jordan.

After Jordan leaves, Phyllis will call out Faith on being hungover, and Faith will beg Phyllis not to tell Nick about her drinking. Phyllis won’t agree to that.

Over at Crimson Lights, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will be worried about how Faith will react to hearing that Adam is a suspect in Chance’s shooting.

Later, Rey and Paul will meet in another area of Crimson Lights and they’ll discuss Chance’s statement that Adam didn’t shoot him. Victor will walk in and learn from Paul and Rey that Adam was the intended victim of the shooting.

Rey will take off, and Paul will explain to Victor that his life and his family’s lives could be in danger, and he’ll explain to Victor about the schematics of Newman Tower that Chelsea saw on Adam’s laptop.

Paul will want access to Newman Tower for a security sweep, and Victor will agree. Later, Faith will arrive to see Sharon and Mariah, and she’ll be testy with Sharon due to her hangover.

At the Chancellor mansion, Rey will arrive to talk with Chelsea, telling her that Chance said that Adam didn’t shoot him. Chelsea will be afraid for her safety, and Rey will offer to put her into protective custody, but Chelsea won’t want that.

Rey will then quiz Chelsea about where she was at the time of the shooting, and Chelsea will reel that Rey thinks that she might have been the shooter. Chelsea will promptly lawyer up.

At the Grand Phoenix, Nick will arrive to find Phyllis working. Phyllis will try to tell Nick about Faith’s drinking, but Nick won’t let her get a word in edgewise as he blurts out that Adam probably shot Chance and that now he has to find a way to tell Faith.

Nick will bellow that Phyllis needs to call Victoria, and Phyllis won’t particularly like Nick’s tone. Nick will leave irritated, without Phyllis having told him about Faith and her hangover.

Back at Adam’s penthouse, Rey will arrive to tell Adam that he’s got an assassin on his trail, and he’ll strongly insinuate that Chelsea is a likely suspect. Adam will think that’s ridiculous, but Rey will persist, saying that Chelsea’s a survivor and that she had no alibi for the time of the shooting.

Back at Crimson Lights, Rey will show up to tell Sharon that the shooter was actually after Adam before he heads out to continue his investigation. Sharon will leave as soon as Rey takes off.

A few minutes later, Nick will arrive to see Faith saying that he just argued with Phyllis. Faith will be worried that Phyllis might have told Nick about her drinking, and she’ll be relieved when Nick doesn’t pick up Phyllis’ call.

Back at Society, Victoria will find Victor in the lounge area. Victor will share that Adam didn’t shoot Chance, and that Adam was the intended victim of the shooting. Victoria will still think that Adam is a lost cause and she’ll want Victor to accept that.

Back at Adam’s penthouse, Sharon will arrive to see Adam, wanting to know if Adam knows who tried to kill him. Adam will say no, and Sharon will say that Rey’s job is dangerous enough, and that Adam had better be telling the truth.

Adam will say that he almost went to a place that he couldn’t come back from, but that he couldn’t go through with it. Sharon won’t like the sound of that, and she’ll suggest they keep their distance going forward.

Back at the Chancellor mansion, Chelsea will be alone and worried. Chelsea will text Rey asking to go into protective custody, and Rey will respond that he’ll have someone pick her up. Chelsea will go pack a bag, and when she returns to the room, she’ll find Adam there.

Finally, at the hospital, Abby will be out in the hallway talking with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) via phone. When Abby walks back into Chance’s room, she’ll find Chance in distress, having trouble breathing. Abby will go to the hallway and yell for help.
