The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Thursday, October 15, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braden) will visit with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at Adam’s penthouse. Victor will clearly intend to reach out to Adam and rectify the rift between them, but Adam will completely reject his attempt.
Adam will denounce Victor and say that he wishes he never came to Genoa City. Adam will then say he’s got nothing to lose, and that this makes him dangerous.
Adam will tell Victor to get out of the penthouse, and Victor will get up to leave. Victor will say that he and Adam have some things in common – namely the anger of having been abandoned when they were young. But Victor will be clear that Adam should never threaten him.
At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be working when Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) enters and grills Kyle about what he did to chase Summer Newman (Hunter King) out of town. Kyle will angrily tell Phyllis that he only loved Summer, and that she should track Summer down.
At the Grand Phoenix, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will have a contentious discussion with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who will want Nick to join the family to strategize against Adam.
Nick will refuse, saying that this is on Victor, and that he’s peeved about how Victoria has treated Phyllis. Victoria will walk off to a meeting.
Phyllis will walk in the hotel, and Nick will share that he recommended the Grand Phoenix as a venue for Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) businessperson of the year ceremony.
After Nick takes off, Victoria will approach Phyllis and tell her falsely that Nick committed to work with the family against Adam. Phyllis will be upset, and then Victoria will pressure Phyllis to sell her the remaining 25% of the hotel. Phyllis will refuse.
Victoria will leave, and Adam will sit down at the bar, Phyllis will offer to be Adam’s friend again, saying that she can help him, but Adam will turn her down flat, realizing that she wants him to go after Victoria for her. Adam will walk out of the hotel, leaving Phyllis deflated.
In Chancellor Park, Summer will talk via phone to a Society employee, saying that she wants to know every conversation that Kyle and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) have.
Meanwhile, over at Society, Kyle will arrive and talk with Lola, joking that he’s reactivating all his dating profiles. A waiter will secretly record that conversation on his phone.
Summer will immediately get a video of Lola and Kyle talking, and suddenly Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will surprise Summer. Faith will explain that she’s avoiding going home, and she and Summer will chat about Summer’s plot to see if Kyle is still in love with Lola.
Summer will wonder who’s texting Faith, and if it’s the same person who texted her yesterday, but Faith won’t spill who she’s been conversing with.
Back at Society, Lola will ask Kyle about Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), and he’ll reveal that she’s not doing well and is under hospice care. Kyle and Lola will leave on good terms, with Lola telling Kyle to give her best to Dina and Kyle’s family.
At Crimson Lights, Faith will meet with Nick, and she’ll avoid questions about how she’s doing by turning the tables and asking how Nick is doing. Nick will tell Faith that he’s proud to be her dad and the way that she’s growing up and handling everything.
Back at Jabot, Kyle will gaze at a photo of Summer on his phone, while Summer hangs out in Chancellor Park watching Kyle and Lola banter happily on the secretly recorded video.
Elsewhere in the park, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will meet with Victor, and Victor will say that he thinks he’s lost Adam forever.
At Sharon’s house, Faith will arrive and call out for her mom. Finding no one there, Faith will sit down on the couch and start to cry.
Meanwhile, Phyllis will return to her suite at the Grand Phoenix to find Nick waiting for her with flowers and ten different kinds of carbs. Phyllis and Nick will decide not to talk about his family tonight, and Phyllis will say that she’s lucky to have Nick.
Over at Newman Enterprises, Victoria will talk with someone on the phone, telling them that she wants the Newman legal team to be prepared, because something’s coming. Finally, over at Adam’s penthouse, he’ll pour himself a drink and gaze out the window.
