The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Tuesday, December 15, tease that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will meet with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at the jailhouse.
Amanda will tell Billy that she’ll continue to represent him providing that he doesn’t lie, interfere with witnesses, speak to the DA without her present, and that he considers all of her advice. Billy will agree.
Billy will tell Amanda that he thinks Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) is a part of the setup against him. Amanda and Billy will ponder why Alyssa came back to Genoa City in the first place, and Billy will think that perhaps Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is manipulating Alyssa into framing him.
At the Grand Phoenix, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will pound on Alyssa’s door. Alyssa will eventually answer, giving Lily just five minutes to talk. Lily will pepper Alyssa with questions about whether she’s helping to frame Billy and why she was back in Genoa City.
Alyssa will claim to have been reconsidering Billy’s offer to write a second exposé on Adam.
When Lily asks why Alyssa was at the crime scene, Alyssa will tell Lily that her five minutes are up. Lily will go, but she’ll hide in the hallway as Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) approaches Alyssa’s door and says that Alyssa needs to be moved to a new location.
After Rey and Alyssa walk off, Lily will slip into Alyssa’s room and snoop around, finding a photo by the bed and a pair of gloves in a drawer.
Down in the lobby, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will talk with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) about the money he gave her to buy Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) out of the hotel.
Phyllis will still be feeling unsettled about taking Nick’s money, and she’ll see it as “losing,” which Nick just won’t understand.
Later, Amanda will catch Lily as she’s exiting the hotel, and the women will talk about Billy’s case. Lily will share about breaking into Alyssa’s room, and how Alyssa had a photo of her dad in the room.
Lily will search for AJ Montalvo online, and she’ll pull up a photo of AJ wearing the same kind of gloves that Alyssa had in her room. Lily will figure out that they’re marksman/shooting gloves, and Amanda will say that they need to go tell Billy.
At the Chancellor mansion, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast), Chance Chancellor (Justin Gaston), and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) will chat happily about Abby and Chance’s adventures in babysitting Miles Fisher.
Then Nina will give Chance and Abby a present – the angel tree topper that Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) gave to Chance as a boy.
Abby and Chance will have a gift for Nina as well – a framed photo of the three of them from the wedding. Nina will be thrilled, and she’ll say that her visit in Genoa City is nearly over.
Nina will be certain that she’s leaving her son in good hands, and after Nina goes, Chance will give Abby a shell from their beach honeymoon and they’ll talk about having children in the future.
At Crimson Lights, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will be helping Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) decorate the place for Christmas when Faith receives an unflattering meme depicting her from some bullies from school.
Faith won’t tell her mom what’s going on, but she’ll walk out to the patio in tears, which Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will see. Lola will whisk Faith to her place for a chat after getting permission from Sharon first.
Nick will arrive next, and he’ll talk with Sharon about his situation with Phyllis and the hotel money. Sharon will actually see Phyllis’ point of view, saying that Nick’s a rescuer and that Phyllis doesn’t want to be rescued.
Sharon will suggest that Nick should accept Phyllis for who she is – not who he thinks she should be.
At Lola’s apartment, Lola will learn about the meme from Faith, and Faith will say that it’s been going on ever since the exposé about Adam came out. Lola will tell Faith to ignore the mean girls and rely on her friends.
Faith will say that her one true friend is ghosting her. Faith will wonder about how many friends Lola had when she was younger, and Lola will relay some of her experiences. In the end, Faith will feel a bit better.
Back at the Grand Phoenix, Nick and Phyllis will regroup in Phyllis’ suite, and Nick will tell Phyllis that he won’t apologize for wanting to help, but that he understands her concerns.
Nick will even suggest that they institute a payment plan over time, which will make Phyllis feel a little bit better.
