The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 27, tease that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will stand in Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) hotel suite at the Grand Phoenix getting things all prepared for when Summer returns.
Meanwhile, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will talk in the lobby, as Nick asks Phyllis to let him buy out Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) 75% interest in the hotel.
Phyllis will then see Summer walk by incognito, and she’ll call out Summer. Summer won’t feel like answering her parents’ questions about her breakup from Kyle, so she’ll head up to her suite, where Kyle will be waiting.
Summer won’t be thrilled to find out that Kyle broke into her room, but she’ll decide to give him a chance to give a little presentation that he wants to give.
Kyle will uncover four platters in turn – one will be a photo of them as kids, the second will be the remote for the sound system which will play a special song of theirs, the third will be a replica of Summer’s cherry-stem engagement ring, and the fourth will be a keyring for their new house.
Summer will be moved, but then Kyle will mention that he’s over Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), and Summer will freak out.
Summer will rant and rave at Kyle about how he shouldn’t even be saying Lola’s name, and she’ll say that she wants Kyle and all his presentation materials out of her room. Summer will take off her engagement ring and tell Kyle it’s over, and Kyle’s heart will break as he watches.
Meanwhile, downstairs, Phyllis and Nick will wonder what happened with Summer and Kyle, then talk will turn back to Phyllis’ problem with Victoria. Nick will go, and Phyllis will accost Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) as he walks across the lobby.
Phyllis will want Billy to spy on Victoria, but Billy will flatly refuse, even after Phyllis plays the “Summer” card, saying that Billy owes her for sleeping with Summer.
Over at Chancellor Communications, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be working when Victoria arrives looking for Billy, who won’t be there. Victoria will give Lily a talk about Billy, saying that she noticed that Lily and Billy are getting along quite well.
Victoria will warn Lily about Billy’s dark side and she’ll urge Lily to keep her guard up.
Soon, Billy will return, and Lily will step out for a call. Victoria and Billy will tell each other about their respective visits with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and then Billy will mention Victoria’s ownership of the Grand Phoenix.
Victoria will think that Phyllis must have some leverage over Billy, and Billy will quickly drop the issue. Later, Lily will rush off uncomfortably saying she’s tired and Billy will wonder what’s going on.
At Crimson Lights, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will be helping Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) clean up, and Faith will get and send several texts as they talk. Later, Nick will show up and talk with Faith about her sneaking out the other night.
Nick will warn Faith not to mess up again. Sharon will emerge to tell Nick and Faith that she and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) are getting married on New Year’s Eve, and then Faith’s friend Jordan (Madison Thompson) will materialize.
Faith will explain that Jordan’s brother is in her class at school, and Jordan will impress Sharon with her order of green tea with lemon. While Sharon’s off getting the tea, Nick will ask Jordan if she’s the person that Faith met up with the other night in Chancellor Park.
Jordan will take the blame, and then Faith will step in and take the blame. Nick will seem impressed.
Later, Nick will be gone, and Sharon will talk with the girls briefly. Once alone, Jordan and Faith will discuss how perfectly they played Nick and Sharon earlier. Jordan will say that’s the key to building trust and that Faith’s dad really bought it.
Faith will note that Nick has been watching her since the night they snuck out together, and Jordan will say that the more perfect they act, the more they can get away with.
At Society, Nick and Phyllis will meet for dinner, and after a little flirting, Nick will ask if Phyllis has thought at all about his proposition to buy out Victoria’s interest in the Grand Phoenix.
Phyllis will admit that her plan blew up in her face, but that she can’t let Nick make her problems disappear.
At Lola and Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) apartment, Lola will tell Elena that they should go out for a girls’ night. Elena will balk, but Lola will ultimately persuade Elena to go have a little fun.
Lola and Elena will promise not to talk about men or relationships all night and to just live in the moment.
Back at the Grand Phoenix, Kyle will follow Summer through the lobby wanting to talk, but Summer will say that she’s got nothing else to say to Kyle. Kyle will beg Summer not to let it end like this, and just then Summer and Kyle will notice Elena and Lola sitting in the lobby hearing every word.
Lola will ask Summer what’s wrong with her, and she’ll yell that Summer’s about to ruin the best thing that ever happened to her.
Soon, Lola and Elena will take off for their dinner reservation, and Summer will tell Kyle that he and Lola seem to be working hard to convince her that nothing’s going on. “It’s over,” Summer will say, as she walks off.
