The Young and the Restless Spoilers Recap: Tuesday, October 6 – Summer Catches Kyle & Lola Texting – Amanda Scores Billy Big Win

The Young and the Restless spoilers recap for Tuesday, October 6, tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will talk with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) via phone and he’ll learn that the judge threw out both Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) lawsuits.

Billy will smile and tell Amanda that he knew he could count on her.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will ask Devon why she had to hear about Amanda and Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) being twins from Billy.

Devon will say that he didn’t intend to leave Lily out, but that he was busy processing the news himself. Soon, Lily will get a call from Billy telling her about the lawsuits being thrown out, which will greatly relieve Lily.

From there, Lily will head over to Chancellor Communications, where Billy will gush that viewership on the exposé is through the roof and that a sequel is the natural next step.

Lily will disagree, saying that they dodged a bullet on the exposé and that she doesn’t trust Billy to do another one in a methodical and careful way. Lily’s answer will be a firm no, which Billy will accept for today.

At Adam’s penthouse, Adam will be upset about his lawsuit being dismissed, and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will urge Adam not to lash out and give Billy what he wants.

Chelsea will seem upset about something, and at Adam’s urging she’ll reveal that all of the advertisers and influencers have backed out of the launch of her new company.

Adam will feel terribly about that, but Chelsea will insist that it’s Billy’s fault, not Adam’s. Adam will say that Billy thinks he’s a monster, so a monster he’ll get, and that it’s time for action.

Chelsea will insist that Adam not do that, and Adam will lash out, saying that Chelsea doesn’t trust him to do what’s best to protect their family. Adam will leave in a huff, leaving Chelsea frustrated.

In a Chicago hotel room, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) will enjoy breakfast. Kyle and Summer will plan to marry tomorrow, but then Summer will have second thoughts about keeping the news from their family.

Kyle will suggest that they email their parents saying they’re eloping so that it’s not a big secret, and Kyle and Summer will each compose nice messages to their respective parents.

Kyle will tell Summer that he has a present for her, and while he’s in the other room retrieving it, Summer will spy texts between Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Kyle on Kyle’s phone.

The texts will show that Kyle has been worried about Lola and that he’s been checking in on her. Summer won’t say anything about the texts, and soon Kyle will return with the present for Summer, who will tell Kyle that she loves him so much.

At Crimson Lights, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will discuss the “teardrop of love” necklace on the patio. Jack will tell Traci about Victor pointing him in the right direction, and he’ll say that he should learn something soon about who the most recent buyer of the necklace was.

Inside the coffeehouse, Billy and Lily will enjoy a break. Lily will want to clear the air about the exposé, and she’ll proceed to tell Billy that he can’t just make unilateral decisions from now on.

Lily will insist on full transparency from here on out. Billy will promise, and Lily will say that they’re good as long as Billy keeps his word.

At Society, Jack will meet with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey Bregman) after finding out that Neil Fenmore (Jim Storm) was the “teardrop of love” buyer. Lauren will disclose that she inherited a large collection of jewelry after her father died, and that she has the jewelry in storage.

Lauren will promise to look at the collection asap for Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) sake.

Lauren will get a text saying that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) just gave birth to a healthy baby boy, and Jack will get the text from Kyle about his elopement with Summer. Jack will leave Kyle an urgent voicemail telling him to take a breath and come home so they can discuss the marriage.

At Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will get texts from Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) wanting to talk, but Victoria will text Phyllis back saying that she doesn’t have time for Phyllis.

Phyllis, who will be at the Grand Phoenix, will think that’s rude. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will drop by the hotel to say that Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is in surgery this morning.

From the Grand Phoenix, Nick will head to the Newman Ranch, where Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will be upset about the exposé and about the lawsuits being thrown out. Nick will say that he’s mainly concerned about Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind).

Back at Newman Enterprises, Phyllis will show up to pitch a big idea to Victoria. Phyllis will want a joint venture between the Grand Phoenix and Newman Enterprises, so that Newman uses the Grand Phoenix for all its out-of-town guests.

Victoria will balk, saying that she has a long-term agreement with the GCAC and besides, she refuses to do business with Phyllis.

Phyllis will go as Nikki arrives, and Nikki will say that she doesn’t like how they left things before. Mother and daughter will come to a meeting of the minds, as Victoria admits that she didn’t stop to consider the fallout of the exposé on her father.

Nikki will then ask about Phyllis’ pitch, and Victoria will say that if Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) still owned the hotel, it would be an entirely different proposition.

Back at the Grand Phoenix, Phyllis will arrive followed shortly by Nick. Nick will ask Phyllis if she’s checked her email, which Phyllis won’t have. Nick will then drop the bomb on Phyllis that Summer and Kyle are eloping.

Phyllis will be mortified, and she’ll try to call Summer, who won’t be answering her phone. Phyllis will then call Jack, who will say that their kids are about to make a huge mistake.
