The Young and the Restless Spoilers Review: Tuesday, November 10 – Chance’s Surgery – Kyle Calls Out Summer – Rey Questions Adam

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers review for Tuesday, November 10, reveals that Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) has big news to spill. After discussing how Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) didn’t show up for the intervention, Abby fishes her new engagement ring from her purse and tells Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) that she’s getting married. Victoria is thrilled and feels this is the happy ending that Abby deserves.

Down by the loading docks, Adam manages to get up and hobble toward Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Adam sees that Chance has been shot and is bleeding from the wound. “What the hell happened?” Adam wonders aloud.

At Society, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) bumps into Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and gets updates on her new executive assistant position. Sally agrees to let Theo buy her a drink now that he’s out of his recent funk.

Once they’re at a table, Theo admits to Sally that he wants to go after not only his fair share of Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) fortune – but all of it. “Legally of course,” Theo insists. He fills Sally in on Dina giving up his father for adoption and how he didn’t find out until he came to town.

Sally wonders why Theo believes he’s entitled to Dina’s fortune, but Theo argues that it’s payback for all those years his father spent without Dina. Eric Vanderway’s (Jon Briddell) life and net worth would’ve been totally different if Dina had raised him. “The Abbotts are already filthy rich. They don’t need Dina’s money; I do,” Theo says.

Sally points out that Theo’s plan would blow sky high if she ratted him out. Theo notes that Sally’s still sitting there and feels like Sally’s someone who values a person who goes after what he wants. Theo also doesn’t see Sally as someone who’ll be content getting Lauren Baldwin’s (Tracey E. Bregman) coffee for her every morning.

“I have my eye on a much bigger prize,” Sally insists. Summer Newman (Hunter King) walks through the door of Society and spots Sally sitting with Theo. Summer quickly rushes out again looking rattled and suspicious.

Back at the loading dock area, Adam puts a pair of gloves on and grabs Chance’s phone off the ground. Adam calls for an ambulance and reports a shooting. “Yeah, he’s still breathing, but hurry up,” Adam warns before hanging up.

After placing Chance’s phone on the ground again, Adam assures unconscious Chance that he just called for help. Adam receives a text that says “Victor Newman has left Newman Tower” before he hears the ambulance approaching. He stares down at bleeding Chance and mutters that he’s sorry as he goes.

In the park, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) talks to Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) about Adam. Rey feels like it was low of Adam to expect forgiveness from Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind).

“Adam is gonna get his sooner or later,” Rey insists. “You don’t make that many enemies without one of them turning on you.” All Sharon cares about right now is her daughter.

Sharon tells Rey that Faith is watching a movie with Jordan (Madison Thompson) – at least according to her latest text. Rey wants to help Sharon relax as well, but a call comes in about the shooting. “Chance has been shot; I gotta go,” Rey says as he rushes off.

Once Rey makes it to the crime scene, he flashes his badge and moves forward to speak with Chance. Unfortunately, Chance is only able to whisper Adam’s name before he loses consciousness again.

Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) shows up at Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) suite and brings up the failed intervention plan. Phyllis can’t believe Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) called this meeting to try and save Adam’s soul.

The Newmans wasted an hour and now Phyllis hopes Victor sees that Adam isn’t worth saving.

Nick wouldn’t care if that were the only thing that happened. He brings Phyllis up to speed on Faith lighting into Adam earlier. All Nick can think about are the ways he wants to dismantle Adam piece by piece! Phyllis is proud of Faith for how she handled herself with Adam.

In the Grand Phoenix lobby, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) appear with Miles Fishes in a stroller. Kevin tries to get Chloe to stop worrying about Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). Sharing at her phone all night isn’t going to help anyway.

Since Lauren and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) were kind enough to invite Chloe and Kevin for a night out, Chloe resolves to enjoy the moment – though she’ll keep her phone close by just in case.

Chloe and Lauren end up talking about fashion, which leads to Chloe bringing up the new line she’s working with. Chloe pretends Chelsea is a different designer, so Lauren asks Chloe to send over her portfolio.

Talk turns to Sally being Lauren’s assistant now. Chloe recognizes the name and knows Sally has a reputation as a bit of a troublemaker. “Well, the same could be said for you and Kevin!” Lauren says with a smile and a wave of her hand. “Burn!” Michael adds.

Up in Phyllis’ suite again, talks about overcoming some of her differences with the Newman women – though she’s worried about Victoria’s silence. “She’s like a cobra!” Phyllis argues.

Once you let your guard down, Victoria strikes. “She does have cobra-like qualities,” Nick admits. However, Nick feels like Phyllis is now off Victoria’s radar, so they ditch all that talk and decide to make love.

At the coffeehouse again, Abby updates Victoria on Chance’s marriage proposal. Victoria notes that this union brings together three of power families in town: the Newmans, the Abbotts and the Chancellors.

Abby agrees it’s kind of historic and suggests doing something “extraordinary” for the wedding. Victoria adds that if they pull out all the stops, it’ll be a wedding that people talk about forever.

Abby suggests renting a private island where they hold a different party every night with a different theme. They joke as the plans become increasingly extravagant, but Abby thinks they should just stick with something local for their families and friends.

Abby marvels at how much her life has changed and mentions the baby idea to Victoria, who mistakenly assumes her sister is pregnant. “No, no, not yet!” Abby exclaims with a laugh. “But Chance and I have been trying.” Abby and Chance committed to their future together.

Now that Abby’s spilled the news to Victoria, she’s ready to tell her mom and dad. The phone rings, so Abby answers and seems horrified. She tells Victoria that Chance has been shot, so Victoria offers to rush Abby to the hospital.

At Jabot, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) can tell something’s bothering Summer. She eventually admits she saw Theo and Sally “huddled up together” at Society. Kyle asks if Summer is jealous, which she finds ridiculous. Kyle wonders why Summer is obsessing then.

Summer just can’t shake the feeling that something is off here. Kyle argues that Sally is an adult and will figure Theo out, but Sally’s the one Summer is worried about.

She doesn’t get why this big designer would take such a huge step down, but Kyle defends Sally and thinks Summer’s imagination is running away with her.

Summer argues that Sally has an agenda, but Kyle suggests maybe Summer’s feeling threatened. When asked why, Kyle clarifies. “Because you’re worried there might only be room for one strong, brazen, occasionally devious young woman in Genoa City?” Kyle asks.

“Is that what you think of me?” a stunned Summer replies.

Kyle didn’t mean to hurt or offend Summer, but she says she’s only offended. Summer feels like she’s worked really hard to overcome her reputation as a sneak and a liar. Kyle points out that Summer recently spied on him, but she argues that was different.

Summer lashes out on Tuesday’s Young and the Restless episode, but Kyle thinks Summer doesn’t like being confronted with an uncomfortable truth. He would indeed call Summer’s behavior “slightly devious.” Summer says she can’t believe she was starting to forgive Kyle and stomps off.

Back with Sally, she confesses that her plan when she came to Genoa City was to convince Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) to let her take over the Jabot Collective. Unfortunately, it’s been shut down. Theo says that’s not true; it was just sold to Fenmore’s.

Theo feels like he knows all the players and could help Sally land the Jabot Collective. All Sally would have to do is be Theo’s eyes and ears – pass along any info that could help him pull off his own plan. Theo will even throw in a piece of his inheritance to sweeten the deal.

Sally suggests Theo thinks he’s got her all figured out, so Theo asks what he’s missing. “Everything,” Sally declares. She then suggests Theo was a guy who had mild success in New York, so he thought he’d come to GC and be a big star – only to find out he didn’t fit in anywhere.

Theo is reckless and cocky, so Sally isn’t keen tying herself to him. She doesn’t think she needs anybody for her own plan. Theo acknowledges that Sally has turned him down, but he’s not giving up. “There’s always tomorrow,” Theo says.

At Adam’s penthouse, he rushes to put Chelsea’s purse and its contents in a trash bag. He sits down at his laptop to delete his Newman Tower scheme and texts his helper that the plan’s been aborted. Adam has a lot of heat coming his way and wants his minion to “stay low.”

While Nick gets a call from Victoria about Chance, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) finds Michael and fills him in on the latest. Michael wants to break the news about Chance to his family before he heads to the station with Paul. Once Michael steps away, he brings Lauren, Chloe and Kevin up to speed.

Chloe immediately worries the shooting could be tied to Chelsea’s disappearance. After Chloe leaves with Kevin, Lauren prepares to call Chance’s family members.

She spots Theo enter The Grand Phoenix with Sally and looks a bit suspicious. Sally walks over, thanks Lauren for the job and insists Genoa City is starting to feel like home already.

At the hospital, Abby’s pacing and eager for an update on Chance’s condition. Victoria points out the surgery could take some time. Abby’s freaking out and worries Chance won’t make it, but Victoria argues Chance will fight with everything that she has.

Abby feels like she needs to be alone and process what happened, so she pushes Victoria to keep her plans to see a puppet show with the kids. Once Victoria leaves, Abby spots Rey and grills him. “What’s going on? Who shot Chance?” Abby asks on Tuesday’s Y&R episode.

Rey wishes he could tell Abby how or why this happened, but he vows to get to the bottom of it.

Abby feels like Rey’s holding back, but he just wants Abby to hang in there and be the first face Chance sees when he wakes up. Abby nods somberly and keeps pacing after Victoria leaves.

Back with Adam, he’s frustrated on the phone trying to get news on Chance when Rey shows up at the door. Rey’s there to question Adam in connection with Chance’s shooting.

At the Chancellor mansion, Chloe is startled when Chelsea appears crying and gasping for air. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea has more problems in her future, so stay tuned to Y&R. CDL’s your one-stop source for fantastic Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news.
