The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers review for Wednesday, November 4, teases that some positive energy is flowing for Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). At Crimson Lights, Sharon talks to Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) about feeling like the cloud has lifted.
Sharon suggests she’s looking forward to the wedding and sharing all this joy with her loved ones.
At Brett’s house, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) seems uneasy as Jordan (Madison Thompson) urges her to join everyone in the nearby indoor pool. Faith pushes Jordan to go ahead and promises she’ll catch up.
We hear the sounds of splashing and partying before a guy asks what Jordan’s doing wasting her time with that “Newman loser.” Faith looks upset over the hurtful comment.
At Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) penthouse, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) begs Adam to tell her he’s not planning what it looks like he could be planning.
Adam feels like Chelsea’s first instinct is to jump to the worst possible conclusion – and that tells Adam everything he needs to know about Chelsea and their relationship.
Adam feels like Chelsea thinks he’s some kind of monster who’s capable of unspeakable things; he can see it in Chelsea’s eyes. Adam feels like all the distrust and fear started the night Chelsea found out what happened in Kansas.
Chelsea points out that Adam has the schematics of the Newman Tower on his laptop. There’s a bright red X near where the CEO office is. “Anybody would be suspicious of this,” Chelsea argues. “Tell me why I shouldn’t be.”
Chelsea wonders if this is a heist, digital espionage or worse. She asks if Adam’s planning to do something to the building with people in it.
Adam contends that Chelsea’s imagination is running wild, but Chelsea doesn’t think so. She pleads with Adam not to do something he can’t come back from.
Adam says he’s the same guy he’s been since he was 11 years old, but Chelsea wants him to stop and consider how this will affect Connor Newman (Judah Mackey).
After Chelsea leaves, Adam calls someone about a change in plans and wants this person to take care of something right now. At the Chancellor mansion, Chelsea seems frazzled.
Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) notices and wonders what’s going on. Chelsea downplays everything, but Chloe points out it’s only a matter of time until Adam does something terrible.
Chelsea admits she saw Adam, so Chloe worries Adam’s threatening to take custody of Connor. Chelsea offers reassurance, but Chloe doesn’t think Chelsea can keep clinging to a fantasy of who she thought Adam could be.
After Chloe steps up, Chelsea calls Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Chance senses that Chelsea’s rattled and agrees to come over. Chelsea admits this is about Adam’s state of mind, but she doesn’t want to get into the details until Chance gets there.
At Jabot, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) isn’t getting any flash of recognition from Summer Newman (Hunter King), so she takes it Summer doesn’t work in fashion. Summer says she actually did for a while. Things are awkward as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) arrives and Summer introduces her as “Sally Specter.”
Sally corrects Summer on her name, which Jack recognizes. He notes that Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) will be out for a while, so Sally wonders where she can get some coffee in the meantime. Jack recommends Crimson Lights and encourages Summer to take Sally there.
On the Crimson Lights patio, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) talks to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) about Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) reception. He gloats about finding a way to connect with Kyle’s family despite being treated like an outsider. Kyle acts like he doesn’t care, but Theo can tell he does.
Theo thinks he’s the one who should be mad since his place in this family has been made abundantly clear. He mentions how everyone got a piece of the necklace except him. Theo notes that Dina was still his grandmotther. When Dina was lucid, they shared some real moments of connection according to Theo.
Theo also brings up Kyle and Summer’s breakup. When Theo suggests Kyle’s taking his anger out on him, Kyle contends that they may be cousins – but they’re not friends. Whatever Theo’s trying to pull isn’t going to work.
Faith has changed clothes and wipes off her makeup before entering the coffeehouse. Sharon seems suspicious over Faith bailing on what she thought was a sleepover, but Faith suggests this is where she wants to be instead.
Once Sharon steps in the kitchen, Mariah wonders what really went down with Faith and her friend. Mariah worries there was partying and clarifies that she means things like smoking, drinking and “touching…bathing suit…areas.” Faith laughs and pushes Mariah to stop this embarrassing discussion.
Later, Mariah reflects on her wild days when she was younger. She cut class and shoplifted – took a lot of risks she shouldn’t have. Faith thinks those sound tame, but Mariah isn’t going to give her any ideas! She does admit to having people around her who were bad influences.
Mariah’s just glad nothing had worse consequences. She feels like maybe Faith could feel lonely even with people around, but Faith promises everything is fine. Rey appears again to help with wedding planning. Mariah pitches in, but Faith seems down and distracted.
Someone texts a pic of Faith looking awkward at the party and adds a message about how “little Newman” shouldn’t cry. “Mommy’s coming. Or maybe not (LOL).” Faith nearly tears up at the sight of it on Wednesday’s Young and the Restless episode.
Summer enters the patio with Sally, who knows Theo from when she lived in New York for a few months with her old boyfriend, Thomas. Theo remembers Thomas being a “jackass,” so Sally confirms it since Thomas dumped her soon after. Theo wants to buy dinner for Sally while she’s in town.
After Theo gets Sally’s number, he notes that he followed Sally’s latest social media firestorm and was rooting for her all the way.
Theo saunters off, so Summer warns Sally that he’s a “lying, manipulative, heartless jerk. Sally gathers that Summer is Theo’s ex-girlfriend and doesn’t seem bothered by the warning.
Back with Adam, he gets another warning from Young Adam (Dane West). This is worse than anything Adam’s ever done! Adam argues that they can’t change the past – everything has led them to this moment.
Over with Chelsea again, she assures Chloe that she’s looking toward the future. Chelsea mentions her upcoming meeting with Chance and lies about a legal matter that’s unrelated to Adam.
Once Chelsea’s alone, she opens the door expecting Chance and gets an unpleasant surprise. We don’t see the man’s face, but he comes in and struggles with Chelsea before kidnapping her.
In the park, Chloe joins Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) along with Chance. Chloe tells Chance not to advocate for Adam, who’s toxic. She hopes Chelsea’s gotten out in time and that Adam hasn’t ruined her life forever.
After Chance leaves, Chloe and Kevin talk about being on the same page about Adam. Kevin can tell that Chloe’s super worried. It’s what Chelsea didn’t say that has Chloe concerned. “I just have a really bad feeling about this.”
Chance rings the doorbell at the Chancellor mansion on Wednesday’s Y&R episode, but there’s no answer. He leaves Chelsea a voicemail urging Chelsea to get in touch and seems uneasy.
Back at Jabot, Sally meets with Lauren. They talk about Sally’s great-aunt, the original Sally Spectra (Darlene Conley), before shifting gears to Sally’s career.
Sally isn’t sure what her plans are going forward, but she wants a new start in a new place – and maybe a new job. Over with Faith again, she makes an effort to get more involved in the wedding planning.
Faith still seems down, but she wants Sharon to have the happiness she deserves. Jordan texts Faith about missing everything, but Faith says her mom needed and vows to join in next time.
At the Chancellor mansion again, Chloe comes home with Kevin and seems fearful since Chelsea isn’t there. As for Adam, he gets a scary special delivery as eerie music plays. There’s a small tank inside that seems awfully toxic and troubling.
Adam also receives a text to let him know his latest demand has been taken care of.
