The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) love life may take a few more unexpected turns. Y&R fans know Adam has recommitted to Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and they’re eager for a fresh start far away from Genoa City.
The problem is Chelsea has a brain aneurysm that really needs to be taken care of first.
Chelsea’s treatment is coming up after the holidays, but can she wait that long? The Young and the Restless spoilers say Chelsea has some difficult days ahead due to her health.
Chelsea could be pretty bad shape as she deals with this brain crisis, so who will Adam lean on when things get tough?
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) is usually the one Adam turns to in especially troubling moments anyway. Adam has told Sharon time and time again that no one understands him like she does.
Since Adam also understands Sharon more than she’d like to admit, that gives them a special bond – one that’ll never go away no matter how hard they try to fight it.
What happens if Chelsea faces complications and slips into a coma? What if Chelsea winds up fighting to survive? Adam will have nobody he can count on unless Sharon steps up to support him.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) would want to be there for his son, but Adam might continue to push his father away. Victor might summon Sharon knowing Adam needs someone to help him through this medical drama.
Of course, this could cause some issues if Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) feels like Sharon’s putting Adam first or getting too close. Sharon and Rey may end up tying the knot on New Year’s Eve as planned, but that doesn’t mean “Shey” will stay together forever.
Annulments and quick divorces are common on soaps, so it’s wise to keep that in mind.
Bottom line, Chelsea’s health woes are just getting started, which means Adam will need somebody besides Chelsea who can be there for him.
Sharon makes the most sense, which could mean more “Shadam” bonding and some “Shey” trouble! We’ll fill you in as other Y&R news and updates become available.
