The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will keep following her new pal’s risky advice. Jordan’s (Madison Thompson) motto is that the more perfect you act, the more you can get away with!
She’s encouraging Faith to act like the ideal little angel, but that’s only so Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) won’t know what she’s up to.
Of course, if Faith has to hide the things she’s up to, then those really aren’t things she should be doing! So far, Faith hasn’t done anything too terrible. Sneaking off and lying about it wasn’t a great decision, but it’s not like Faith and Jordan were at some wild rave.
They were just hanging out in the park talking, so Y&R’s going to have to up the ante in the trouble department.
It looks like The Young and the Restless writers will accomplish that goal during November sweeps. Despite Faith’s efforts to fool Nick and Sharon, they’ll be unsettled by some of her choices.
Jordan’s influence on Faith’s behavior will be apparent to them, so Sharon and Nick may wonder how they should deal with this.
However, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will make a bold move to help Faith herself. That’s Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) sister and Nick’s daughter, so Phyllis will want to get involved here.
Unfortunately, Phyllis’ methods may not be what Nick and Sharon have in mind.
After all, Phyllis is a pretty big rulebreaker and the ultimate schemer. It’ arguably a bit hypocritical for her to think she can somehow drag Faith out of trouble when Phyllis has made so much of it.
Nevertheless, Phyllis will probably know Mom and Dad’s lectures aren’t the answer for Faith. It sounds like Phyllis will go behind Sharon and Nick’s backs to assist Faith somehow, so this plan is sure to blow up in Phyllis’ face.
What happens once Sharon realizes Phyllis is trying to dictate Faith’s decisions? Sharon may feel like Phyllis thinks she can just swoop in and take over. It’s easy to imagine Sharon unleashing her wrath and insisting that Phyllis is NOT Faith’s mother.
Nick’s undoubtedly going to find himself in the middle of a familiar feud soon enough. The Young and the Restless spoilers say “Phick” will take a hit as a result of all this.
Part of Nick may want to defend Phyllis as the woman he currently loves, but another part of him may think Sharon’s right. It’s not Phyllis’ place to make parental decisions or make Faith-related moves without their approval.
No matter how this storyline plays out, it’ll be fun to see Phyllis and Sharon facing off again. Now that Sharon’s cancer battle is winding down, she can get back to her old relationship with Phyllis – one that’s tense and problematic! We’ll pass along updates as other Y&R news becomes available.
