The legendary Irna Phillips, who created this soap and served as its head writer, also created Guiding Light, As the World Turns, and Another World.
Lucci’s first break in the business led to her casting on AMC. Erica became her most famous and enduring role, which lasted through that show’s run which ended in 2011. The actor has also appeared in numerous other television shows, notably including the epic nighttime soap opera, Dallas, and in movies throughout her career.
