The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) may try a new tactic. He’s been pushing Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) buttons about Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), but that’s not getting him anywhere.
Summer is pining for Kyle, but so what? She’s been doing that ever since Kyle got back together with Lola Abbott (Sasha Calle) and nothing’s happened. Theo can also flirt with Lola all he wants, but that won’t be enough to destroy “Kola’s” marriage. He’ll have to do more if he hopes to win Lola for himself.
During the week of January 13-17, Summer and Lola’s feud will reignite. Something tells us Theo will play a role in the exploding conflict. After all, Lola and Summer have been getting along pretty well for months now.
Y&R fans know Summer gave Lola a life-saving liver donation, so that ultimately led to peace between them. Lola’s had moments where she’s seemed somewhat threatened by Summer, but she trusts Kyle for the most part.
It’s Kyle who doesn’t trust Theo – and that could be at the center of Lola’s brewing battle with Summer.
There’s a chance Summer will go to Lola and lay out her concerns. She may insist that Kyle’s right to be wary of Theo, who clearly wants to break up Lola and Kyle. Summer may just want to give Lola a warning and convince her to keep her guard up. She might side with Kyle as far as his fears go and leave Lola offended.
Lola could easily think Summer’s trying to act like she knows Kyle better than his own wife. She’s not going to approve of Summer’s Theo bashing either. Lola appears to think Theo’s great at this point. The wool’s pulled over Lola’s eyes, so all she can see is Theo pretending he’s a changed man.
That’s obviously not the case since Theo’s still trying to emulate Kyle and basically take over his life. Nevertheless, Theo could be the reason Summer and Lola’s hostility erupts again.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that may be exactly what Theo has in mind! Kyle would undoubtedly back Summer up and make matters worse. It could all be part of Theo’s twisted plan to win Lola’s heart.
