The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) seems poised to become Genoa City’s resident troublemaker. Sally was known for scheming on The Bold and the Beautiful, and now she’s bringing that same penchant for plotting to The Young and the Restless.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) just might become Sally’s main victims soon enough. Let’s look at the clues Y&R’s offered and try to predict what’s in store. For starters, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) hinted about Billy’s old one-night stand with Summer not too long ago.
In October, Phyllis wanted Billy’s help dealing with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), so she implied Billy was the reason Summer had trust issues with men.
Billy wasn’t interested in doing Phyllis’ “greasy favor,” but he still ended up hinting to Victoria that Phyllis wasn’t worth the energy. That led Victoria to wonder if Phyllis had some sort of leverage on Billy.
Of course, Summer recently faced off with Billy at the Abbott family’s Thanksgiving gathering. It felt like a way to remind Y&R fans that Billy and Summer’s feud is still on.
There’s also the matter of Phyllis keeping Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) in the dark on Faith Newman’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind) drinking briefly. Nick felt like Phyllis should’ve came clean right away, especially since it involved something so important about his daughter.
Phyllis didn’t keep quiet about Faith’s hangover for long at all. Just imagine how furious Nick will be if he finds out Phyllis has been keeping Summer’s hookup with Billy a secret for years! That was something that happened all the way back in 2018.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will grow suspicious of Sally after she tries to network with him at The Grand Phoenix bar. Y&R fans can expect Billy to get sidetracked by Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) drama, but the latest info points to Billy remaining curious about Sally’s agenda.
There’ll be other opportunities for Billy to figure out what Sally’s up to and try to derail her plans.
Since Sally’s being pulled into both Summer and Billy’s storylines, there’s the potential for her to unleash the “Bummer” one-night stand secret. Will Sally be the one who finally blows the lid off that shocker?
Billy used Summer for revenge on Phyllis – and Phyllis kept that a secret from Nick. This secret could blow up several lives, so stay tuned to see if Sally uncovers the truth and exposes it.
