The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) wasn’t able to be there when Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) died, but perhaps she’ll still give her grandson a little parting gift.
Y&R fans know Dina was reunited with the “teardrop of love” emerald just before she passed away. Legend has it that the emerald is either enchanted or cursed depending on the situation.
We’d say Theo’s had more than enough bad luck in the romance department lately. Theo may not be a true Abbott, but Dina was his grandmother and he cared about her.
By essentially requesting this necklace before she passed away, it seemed like Dina was trying to share this gift with her family – and that includes Theo whether the Abbotts want to include him or not!
As a result, it’s reasonable to assume things will head in an enchanted direction for Theo soon enough. This necklace’s alleged magical powers may send the perfect woman Theo’s way.
Could that perfect woman be Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) from The Bold and the Beautiful? In terms of their personalities and histories, Sally and Theo seem like a fantastic match.
Like Theo, Sally has certainly had moments where she doubted herself and blew it on the job – like resorting to stealing designs. It’d be easy for Theo to relate since he choked under the pressure and cheated using a stolen pitch at Jabot.
Plus, Sally is scrappy and someone who’s all about the hustle. She’s always worked hard, even if it was on some not-so-great schemes over the years.
Sally is a character who can understand trying to reinvent herself and fight back from losses. She’s also been unlucky in love, so she can definitely relate to that.
You really couldn’t design a better woman for Theo, so we have every reason to think Sally will hit it off with him. Theo may finally be able to move on from Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), who wanted him to be something he wasn’t.
For once, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may find himself jealous of Theo and the smoking hot romance he’s found.
Cursed Kyle may lose while Theo gets everything he’s ever wanted – at least for now. The Young and the Restless always seems to change the game eventually, so Kyle might reunite with Summer Newman (Hunter King) or even Lola sooner or later.
There’s even a chance Kyle will end up stealing Sally, but maybe Sally and Theo will get their shot at happiness first!
