The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, April 2, teases that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will sense there’s a reason behind Phyllis Summers’ smile. Phyllis will ultimately admit she’s back together with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). She’ll talk about doing the same old dance before their inevitable reunion – they’re back on for real. Amanda will be glad to hear it as they share a toast.
Next, Amanda will talk to Phyllis about Jared (Michael Maclane). Since Amanda still wants to help Jared, she’s got a meeting planned with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Y&R spoilers say Phyllis will joke around with Amanda about her interest in Nate. After Phyllis gives a good reminder to live her life and not deny herself, Amanda will offer her gratitude.
Meanwhile, Nate and Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will be at the busy clinic on opening day. As Elena teases Nate about dating, Devon will appear. Elena will think the perfect woman might be right under Nate’s nose – and that’s when Amanda will walk in. After they all discuss Jared, Amanda will chat with Nate alone. She’ll eventually admit she’d like to go on a real date.
At the ranch, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will face a bit of pushback about her return to Newman Enterprises. Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will worry about Victoria taking on too much, but Victoria will offer reassurance. Now that Victoria’s shut Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) out, she’ll feel like a weight’s been lifted off her.
Later, Victoria will give Nick updates on her decision. Although Nick will be worried initially, Victoria will insist she’s OK and wants to take back the reins today. Nick will be proud of Victoria for the work she’s put into her recovery.
After Nick brings Victoria up to speed on some work-related things, he’ll head out and leave Victoria alone. Victoria will gaze at Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) portrait and say aloud that she’s back.
Over with Nick, he’ll bump into Nikki at the Grand Phoenix. Nick and Nikki will mull over whether Victoria’s ready for her Newman comeback before Nikki makes an observation.
Based on the way Nick’s looking at Phyllis, Nikki will realize they’re an item again. She won’t be pleased, but Nick won’t think Nikki has any room to talk. Victor and Nikki have certainly reunited plenty of times over the years.
Afterward, Nick will talk to Phyllis about Nikki’s predictable reaction, but Phyllis won’t really mind. She’ll confess that she kind of enjoys all the exploding heads.
At Society, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will contend that he’s exactly like Victor, which is what his father always wanted. Adam will suggest Victor should be careful what he wishes for!
After shoving a manila envelope in front of Victor, Adam will insist AJ Montalvo’s death wasn’t an accident. He’ll talk about being the one to decide whether this murder story gets out. Adam will assure Victor that his proof would put him in prison. After Victor smirks, he’ll wonder what Adam’s terms are.
Nearby, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will tell Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) the latest news on Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) and his capture. Abby will admit she got a rush watching Colin fall right into Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) trap.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will get some terrible scan results. After her doctor reveals that the tumor didn’t shrink enough due to the chemo, Sharon will zone out for a moment.
Later, Sharon will have a major outburst at Crimson Lights. She’ll spill some sugar and smash the jar on the floor in a fit of rage.
At home, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will reassure Sharon about being strong and leaning on her team when she needs them. Sharon will be upset over the chemotherapy not working.
Sharon will admit she’s got a follow-up appointment to discuss her options, but she’ll rant that there’s only one. Sharon will crumble over losing her breast and will shout that she doesn’t want this inside of her anymore.
