The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 19, teases that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will make a major decision – one that’ll affect both his family and the future of Jabot. Since Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) is fading fast, Jack will think it’s time to take a step back from the company. Dina has to come first, so Jack will meet with his siblings to discuss the matter.
At the Abbott mansion, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) will talk to Jack about what’s next. They’ll learn Jack’s putting his co-CEO duties aside, so Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will be taking the lead for a while. This will give Jack a chance to focus on making Dina comfortable in her final weeks.
Ashley and Traci will agree it’s time for Dina to come back home. Dina deserves to be surrounded by her loved ones as death draws near. Across town, Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) behavior will spark more concerns.
After another conversation with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Victoria will head to Newman Enterprises. It seems Victoria just won’t be able to fight her desire to work.
Victoria hates that her life’s been derailed, so she’ll be eager to get back on the Newman throne – if only for a few minutes. It turns out Victoria won’t be sitting at that desk for long.
Once Sharon tips off Nikki to trouble, they’ll confront Victoria at the office. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will also be on hand, so this will feel like an ambush. Victoria will snap that they didn’t have to track her down like a lost child.
Of course, that’s not anyone’s intention here. Sharon, Nikki and Nick will just want what’s best for Victoria’s health. Victoria really needs to focus on her recovery right now, not rush back into the corporate grind. By the end of their discussion, hugs will be exchanged. Victoria will express her gratitude and admit she can’t go through this alone.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will face Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) warning. She’ll insist that Theo needs to stop messing with Kyle, but that’s clearly not something Theo will be willing to do. In fact, it looks like a brand-new plot is brewing!
In the Jabot boardroom, Kyle will speak with someone over the phone about Jack’s decision to step away. Kyle will contend that as long as Jack’s out, he’ll be the point person on negotiations.
A redhead named Kendra will also be featured in Thursday’s Y&R episode. Kyle will chew Kendra out over some business details, so Theo will swoop in and offer comfort to this team member.
Theo will acknowledge that Kyle was pretty hard on Kendra earlier, but he won’t think she should let it get to her. Kendra will gripe about how it’s difficult to know what Kyle wants sometimes. Theo will get that since he goes way back with Kyle and knows how he operates.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo will want to grab a drink with Kendra later and try to cheer her up. Kendra will think that sounds great, so they’ll lock in their plans. However, Theo will have that scheming glint in his eye soon after. This outing for drinks seems less about Kendra and more about plotting against Kyle.
At the Chancellor mansion, Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will have some exciting news: what was once Dark Horse is now Chancellor! Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be surprised by Jill’s updates.
The old Dark Horse set is being repurposed as Chancellor Media, so Billy and Lily will head over to check out their new place of business.
Once they’re inside, Lily will playfully argue with Billy about who gets what office. When Lily suggests it’s fitting for her to get the bigger one, Billy will wonder why she thinks so.
Lily will joke that it’s because she’s obviously going to do all the heavy lifting. Billy will counter that they’ll see about that, so they’ll be having a crackling little chemistry fest and trading smiles.
