The Young and the Restless spoilers for Thursday, May 28, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on Thursday, December 15, 2005. It’s “Villains Week” on Y&R, and Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) will terrorize Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman) and Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) as they’re trying to enjoy their honeymoon aboard a yacht.
Michael will be ashore with the yacht’s captain while Lauren is on the yacht. Lauren will be startled by the sudden appearance of Sheila. Sheila and Lauren will get into a physical altercation, with Tom Fisher (Roscoe Born) appearing just as Lauren is about to hit Sheila. Tom will pull Lauren back, and together Tom and Sheila will overpower Lauren and tie her up.
Lauren will try to talk some sense into Tom, saying that Sheila wants her dead and that Sheila will probably turn on him when she’s done with him. But Lauren’s pleas will be to no avail.
Eventually, Sheila will place a bomb next to the fuel tank on the yacht and start a timer. From ashore, Michael will be horrified when he witnesses a huge explosion that tears the yacht apart.
Meanwhile, both Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be dealing with their indiscretions. Nick and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will make a pact to put what happened between them in the past and never talk about it again.
And Sharon and Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) will deal with their own close encounter. Sharon will tell Brad that she needs to make more of an effort in her marriage to Nick.
Next, JT Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) will make his pitch to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who will listen intently as JT proposes renewing the contract between Newman Enterprises and Williams Investigations. Victoria will toy with JT before saying yes, that she’ll renew the relationship between the two entities.
Later Nick will catch up with Victoria at the tack house, saying that if she wants to continue her relationship with Brad and take things to the next level, then he’ll find a way to be civil with Brad.
Elsewhere, Ashley Abbott Carlton (Eileen Davidson) will take a look at the letter that Tom wrote to John Abbott (Jerry Douglas). John will say that it’s all just a technicality, and he’ll explain to Ashley that Gloria Abbott (Judith Chapman) has paid off Tom to protect their relationship.
Jerry will fume, saying that he hates Tom for trying to undermine Gloria’s happiness.
Over at the Chancellor estate, Mackenzie “Mac” Browning (Rachel Kimsey) and Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will bicker about Esther doing JT’s laundry. Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will arrive, wondering what JT had been yelling about outside the night before.
Later, Mac will say yes when JT asks her to move back into the loft with him, but she’ll be worried about how Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) will take the news.
Mac and JT will tell Katherine, Jill, and Esther about moving back in together, and the ladies will be disappointed that Mac will no longer be around the mansion. Mac will promise to come by often.
