The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, October 22, tease that Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will have a heated showdown. It looks like Summer and Kyle are probably going to play the blame game when it comes to their failed elopement.
Kyle thought everything was fine until Summer left a vague note and bolted. He’ll undoubtedly hold Summer responsible for blowing up their relationship.
However, Summer may argue that she wouldn’t have left if Kyle wasn’t so hung up on Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). Summer will surely bring up Kyle’s text messages of concern and his warm interactions with Lola recently.
Kyle will feel like Summer is overreacting, but Summer won’t agree. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Summer will hit Kyle with the harsh reality of things. Perhaps Summer will admit she doesn’t trust Kyle – and she may not be certain that’s going to change.
It’s definitely not going to change if Kyle keeps bonding with Lola, so Summer might even offer up an ultimatum. Could Summer demand Kyle cut Lola out of his life? If so, would Kyle really consider that?
Bottom line, there’ll be tons of tension as Kyle and Summer try to work through their issues. Something tells us Summer and Kyle won’t make much progress!
In the meantime, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will get a touching idea thanks to Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman). After a chat with Lauren, Jack will gather the Abbott family together and reveal a sweet way to honor Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams).
It looks like it’ll involve some sort of memory box, so this should help Dina’s loved ones as they try to cope with their grief and let go.
Other The Young and the Restless spoilers say Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will have some help as he puts Gloria Fisher Bardwell (Judith Chapman) through another interrogation. Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will be on hand this time, so he’ll grill Gloria right along with Kevin.
Gloria hasn’t been offering many details about this job she supposedly has in Hollywood. She won’t like it when Michael and Kevin gang up on her, but it’s clear that Kevin’s right – Gloria is indeed hiding something. For starters, there’s whatever Gloria put in that covered jar in the Chancellor living room!
Gloria will try to keep Michael and Kevin in the dark on the real reason for her return home. It’ll be interesting to see just how long Gloria can hide her latest secret! As other Y&R news and updates become available, we’ll bring you more info.
