The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Thursday, September 24, tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will have to serve as referee. Y&R fans know Phyllis was far from thrilled over Summer Newman’s (Hunter King) new engagement ring. The sight of it led to a faceoff about how this is a terrible idea.
However, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be Summer’s worst opponent on Thursday. Since Summer inadvertently tipped Nick off when we last saw them together, Nick will soon have his turn to rant.
Since Nick doesn’t have much faith in Summer and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) reunion working out, the last thing he wants is for them to rush into another marriage.
As far as Nick’s concerned, this is just going to end in heartbreak and another divorce. Nick will let Summer know where he stands and will expect Phyllis’ full support on this. Unfortunately, it won’t be that simple for Phyllis.
The Young and the Restless viewers will recall that Phyllis has struggled to connect with Summer at times. Now that Phyllis and Summer are in a pretty good place overall, Phyllis will be wary of creating a major rift.
Nick may feel like tough love is what Summer needs, but Phyllis will get that this is Summer’s life to live. They can weigh in, but Summer has to make decisions for herself.
Of course, Phyllis will also understand Nick’s concerns since she shares many of them. As a result, Phyllis will get caught in the middle here. She’ll do her best to bring Nick and Summer together, but that task could take some time to pull off.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will hurl a shocking accusation at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Since Alyssa Monalvo (Maria DiDomenico) is missing as of Wednesday’s episode, Billy will accuse Adam of making it happen.
He’ll confront Adam on Thursday and insist that his rival crossed the line as usual.
Adam will feel like Billy’s the one crossing lines with his fabricated stories. Billy may scoff at Adam’s suggestion that he’s making any of his claims up. Everyone knows who Adam is and how he operates. Nevertheless, Adam will claim he’s innocent when it comes to Alyssa’s vanishing act and whatever else Billy’s trying to pin on him.
Since Billy will be riled up and eager to prove he’s got substantial dirt, he’ll mention that he knows about Adam’s buried secret – the one Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) kept all those years. Once this conversation wraps up, Adam will indeed be more on edge than before.
It’ll leave Adam on a mission to stop Billy by any means necessary, so he’ll reconvene with Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and start forming a new plan. Across town, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will have a confession to make. Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be on the receiving end of it, so what’s this all about?
Elena’s already made it known that she worries Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will be drawn to Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) due to her twin status. Amanda looks just like Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan), the dead wife that Devon loved with all his heart.
Elena might take her view of the situation a step further on Thursday. Maybe Elena will confess that she fears Devon will try to recreate his life with Hilary using Amanda. Then again, this confession might be more about Elena’s bond with Nate.
Elena might admit that she can see how easy it is for attraction to develop. Could Elena admit she’s sometimes drawn to Nate in a way she perhaps shouldn’t be?
Even if Elena doesn’t go as far as too admit that, it may be true! Nate and Elena may wind up moving out of the friend zone if that’s what happens with Amanda and Devon.
