The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Tuesday, April 21 Review – Victor Tells Adam He Killed AJ – Victoria Stops Alyssa’s Escape

The Young and the Restless spoilers review for Tuesday, April 21, tease that Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will surprise Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) at Newman Enterprises. Adam will share with Chelsea that he has an interview later all about his relationship with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Chelsea will tell Adam that he’s won, even though Victor may never acknowledge it. Adam and Chelsea will kiss happily.

Meanwhile, at the Newman Ranch, Victor will ask Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) how she’s handling everything. Nikki will say that the story of AJ Montalvo’s death was a lot to absorb, but that she now understood why Victor did regarding Adam and the CEO position.

Nikki will question what Victor is going to do next, and Victor will note that Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) story will never see the light of day.

Nikki will point out that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is suffering because of all of this, and Victor will tell Nikki to trust him, and that he’ll take care of Victoria.

Victor will take off, and Victoria will come in, having just watched her dad leave from outside. Victoria and Nikki will immediately start arguing as Nikki tries to assure Victoria that this situation is only temporary.

But Victoria will blast what Victor has done, and she’ll rant and rave about how she’s going to undo the damage that Adam has done. Nikki will get concerned, and Victoria will go on to explain that she’s met with Alyssa, who is going to keep digging into the truth to expose Adam’s lies.

Nikki will say that can’t happen, and Victoria will wonder why Nikki would want to stop her.

Finally, Nikki will tell Victoria the story of AJ’s death off-screen. Afterwards, Victoria will be stoic, musing that this explains so much. Victoria will say that she needs to think, and she’ll walk out, leaving Nikki worried.

Over at the Grand Phoenix, Alyssa will open her suite door to see Victor standing there. “I can see from your reaction that you know who I am,” Victor will say. Alyssa will say that she has nothing to say to Victor, but he’ll tell her to listen, and that if she publishes the story, then he’ll ruin her life. Alyssa will stare wide-eyed, then after Victor leaves, she’ll pack her bags hurriedly.

Victor will return back to the ranch and tell Nikki that “it’s been dealt with.” Nikki will be clearly scared to tell Victor that she told Victoria the truth, and Victor will go on about how there’s no longer the possibility that the story will be published. Eventually, Nikki will tell Victor that she told Victoria, and Victor will be stunned.

Over at Adam’s penthouse, Adam will return home, followed shortly by Victoria, who will barge in when Adam opens the door. Adam will be cocky, saying it’s a surprise to see Victoria.

Victoria will smile, noting that she’s not the only one that Victor has been lying to. Victoria will go on, musing about how easy Victor made it for him. Adam will balk, and Victoria will tell him that he has no idea.

Ultimately, Victoria will tell Adam that this wasn’t going to end well for him, and that if he wasn’t such a vindictive bastard, she’d actually feel sorry for him. Victoria will leave, and Adam will worry, then immediately take off for the ranch.

At the ranch, Victor will be questioning Nikki about why she told Victoria the story of AJ’s death when Adam arrives. Adam will immediately ask Victor what he’s cooked up with Victoria.

Nikki will ask what Victoria said, and Adam said that Victoria said things weren’t going to end well for him. Adam will say that he wants an iron-clad contract now, or else he’s releasing the story.

Adam will go on about Victor being a murderer, and Nikki will blurt out, “Your father’s been trying to protect you!” Adam will ask from what, and Victor will hesitate, then he’ll say that he’s been trying to protect Adam from the truth about what happened the night of AJ’s death. “I didn’t want you to know,” Victor will say. “It was you son. You killed Alyssa’s father. It was you all along.”

Finally, back at the Grand Phoenix, Alyssa will get a visit from Victoria, who will tell her they need to talk. Victoria will see Alyssa’s suitcase and gather that she’s leaving. Victoria will ask why Alyssa is leaving, and Alyssa will say, “Your father was here.”
