The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, December 29, tease that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will turn on the charm and put a romantic plan in motion. Since Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) hinted that she wasn’t ready for the getaway Nate had in mind, perhaps he’ll think they can have a little staycation instead.
Nate might book a room at The Grand Phoenix and suggest they can have a getaway without really getting away. This might be the perfect solution in Nate’s mind, but he’s kind of missing the point. Elena’s reluctance was less about the trip and more about getting in too deep with Nate.
It’s clear that Elena’s still battling her feelings for Devon Hamilton (Bryton James), so she may be uncomfortable with Nate’s backup plan. Regardless, Y&R fans can expect disappointment for Nate on Tuesday.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nate’s romantic night will crash and burn, so he’ll have to lick his wounds and figure out what’s next.
Fortunately, Nate will get another chance down the road. Upcoming Y&R spoilers point to Elena and Nate heating things up again, so it seems Nate just needs to be a bit more patient.
Of course, Elena’s feelings for Devon aren’t going to disappear – and neither are Devon’s feelings for Elena. As a result, this love quad with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will remain complicated.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will sense trouble. Faith Newman’s (Alyvia Alyn Lind), Jordan (Madison Thompson), is bad news – and it seems Mariah will start to see that on Tuesday. Look for Mariah to defend Faith in some way and perhaps put Jordan on notice.
Faith may get upset if Mariah embarrasses her or scares Jordan off somehow, but Mariah’s priority will be making sure Faith is protected. If that means Faith is angry with her big sis for a while, then so be it. Mariah will do whatever she has to do for Faith’s sake.
Next, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will confide in someone. Will that be Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) or someone else? No matter who Sally shares with, she’ll get into her history a bit and allude to some not-so-nice things she’s done.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) just might find herself in the position to eavesdrop, so this could be why Summer uses Sally’s past against her in the new year. There’ll be an exciting storyline in 2021 involving Sally’s takedown – and Summer’s plot to use Sally’s history will be a huge part of that.
