The Young and the Restless spoilers for Tuesday, July 28, tease that viewers will see an encore episode that originally aired on April 2, 2004. First, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) will have a tense talk with Bobby Marsino (John Enos) and Angelo Veneziano (Mike Starr) at Marsino’s. Bobby and Angelo will threaten to throw Michael out of the place, but Michael will fire right back that he’ll press charges if they hurt him.
Michael will go on to say that it would look bad to a judge or jury that Bobby and Angelo are thwarting his efforts to defend Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart). Finally, Bobby and Angelo will describe the wiring setup, but Michael won’t think that this implicates Kevin at all.
Bobby will say that Kevin had been angry with Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) because he thought she got him fired. But Michael will think that Kevin is an awfully convenient scapegoat for them.
Bobby and Angelo will insist that they never would have tried to harm their biggest act or cause any bad publicity for their own business. Michael will leave after warning Bobby and Angelo that he’ll see them again, perhaps in court.
Meanwhile, at the Fenmore’s Boutique, Kevin will drop by to see Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman). Kevin will lament about his night in jail, and he’ll thank Lauren for bailing him out. Lauren will say that Kevin deserves a fair shake, and Kevin will think that’s what makes Lauren so special.
Kevin will go on to confess to Lauren that he slept with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) and burned down Gina’s, but Kevin will flatly deny trying to electrocute Brittany. Kevin will be contrite about what he’s done in the past, and he’ll ask Lauren not to tell the police anything. Lauren will agree.
As Kevin leaves, Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) will arrive, assuming that Kevin just confessed something to Lauren. Lauren will refuse to reveal what she and Kevin discussed, frustrating Paul.
Elsewhere, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) will talk with Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), telling her that Arthur Hendricks (David Hedison) has moved in.
But Nikki will seem preoccupied, and Katherine will learn all about what’s wrong. Nikki will confide the story about Ashley Abbott Carlton’s (Eileen Davidson) insemination and Abby Carlton’s (Darcy Rose Byrnes) paternity.
Katherine will think that Nikki is being selfish, and that Nikki shouldn’t tell Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) anything about Abby’s paternity. In fact, Katherine will say that Nikki should persuade Ashley to keep quiet and not destroy everyone’s lives.
Over with Ashley, she’ll talk with Olivia Winters (Tonya Lee Harrison) about her decision to let Victor know the truth.
Olivia will say that Ashley is strong enough to deal with the fallout, but that the news could have a big effect on everyone’s lives. Ashley will start to second-guess her decision to let Nikki tell Victor, since Nikki might put her own spin on the tale.
Ashley will decide that perhaps she should be there when Nikki tells Victor about Abby’s paternity.
Meanwhile, at the GCAC, Brad Carlton (Don Diamont) will chat with Victor about some goings-on at Jabot, and then Victor will change the subject to discuss his upcoming meeting with Ashley.
Victor will fish for information from Brad about what Ashley wants to discuss, but Brad will remain mum about the whole thing. Victor will then go upstairs to the restaurant, where he’ll find Colleen Carlton (Lyndsy Fonseca) doing her homework.
Soon, Abby will emerge from the kitchen, and Victor will offer to keep Abby company while Colleen steps away for a phone call. Victor will talk with Abby, telling her that he cares about her and her Mommy very much. Abby will then stun Victor by blurting out that she saw her Mommy on TV saying that he was her Daddy.
