The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers recap for Tuesday, March 17, teases that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will make some pitches to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil). At they work at the Chancellor mansion, they won’t see eye to eye on a few things. Once Lily shares her point of view, Billy will be surprised that she really knows her stuff. Even so, it’ll take some work to get on the same page.
Billy will acknowledge how important this job is to him. Since Billy’s living his own life away from his family’s expectations, Lily will suggest that it’s about time. Billy will be grateful that Lily understands and will finally start to side with her on some ideas. They’ll munch on takeout as they go over their plans.
Other Y&R spoilers say Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will have some updates for Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle). At Society, Abby will explain that she wants to open a rival hotel across from the Grand Phoenix.
An enthusiastic Lola will agree to help before talk turns to Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). When Lola wonders if Chance is the one, Abby will suggest she just wants to enjoy things for the time being.
After Lola recaps being trapped in the storm with Summer Newman (Hunter King), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), she’ll get Abby’s sympathy.
Abby will be curious what’s up between Lola and Theo, but Lola will be adamant about not rushing into anything. Lola never intends to make that mistake again!
At Jabot, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will catch Theo rubbing Kyle the wrong way. After pulling Theo aside, Jack will point out that Theo’s still needling Kyle. He’ll suggest that Theo seems to resent his cousin, so Theo will admit Kyle hasn’t faced the same challenges. Kyle hasn’t had to hustle the way he has in Theo’s opinion.
Jack will counter that Kyle’s faced challenges and setbacks like everyone else. He’ll want Theo to concentrate on achieving his own goals and back off Kyle. Jack will insist that he means it – let it go!
At Crimson Lights, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will gaze longingly at a pic of Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) on her phone. Once Kyle and Summer appear, Mariah will quickly realize Kyle blabbed about her situation.
Mariah’ll be upset with Kyle for sharing her personal business with Summer, but he’ll suggest didn’t know it was a secret. Mariah will still be agitated since she didn’t know she had to specify.
Summer will assure Mariah that she’s rooting for her to work this out with Tessa, but Mariah will admit Tessa wouldn’t forgive her. She’ll feel like she tossed a grenade into the most beautiful thing in her life. Mariah will make it clear that she doesn’t want Kyle and Summer’s pity before she dashes off.
Later, Mariah will give Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) the scoop on Tessa’s rejection and get some comfort in return. Sharon won’t think this mistake will define Mariah, but Mariah will counter that it wasn’t just a mistake.
Mariah will reiterate that she messed up the most beautiful, precious thing in her life. Mariah will think she just has to accept that it’s over.
Afterward, Mariah will get a text from Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and bring Sharon up to speed on a new job offer. The problem is it’s in Chicago. Sharon will push Mariah to take it and will argue that she’ll be fine.
On Tanner Watts’ (Chase Coleman) private jet, he’ll make a confession to Tessa. Tanner will hint about fantasizing about being on the road making music and reconnecting.
Tanner will suggest that old dreams die hard, but things changed once he saw how much Mariah and Tessa love each other. They’re the real deal. Tanner will believe they belong together, but Tessa won’t think she can get past Mariah cheating.
Back with Mariah, she’ll answer Tanner’s call. He’ll argue that Tessa’s too emotional to be making decisions right now – and he won’t think Mariah’s the kind of person who gives up easily. Tanner will urge Mariah to be at the next concert. He’ll add that all that’s at stake is the rest of Mariah’s life.
Next, Th Young and the Restless spoilers say Chance will have terrible news for Jill Abbott (Jess Walton). He’ll reveal that Colin Atkinson’s (Tristan Rogers) plan was never to keep Devon’s fortune. It was a money laundering scheme, which involved passing money through Chancellor Industries’ accounts.
Chance will urge a disgusted Jill to get in touch with her lawyers, but he’ll vow to keep her out of prison. It’s Colin that Chance intends to put behind bars! Once Chance finds Abby, he’ll explain that he has to leave Genoa City to go deal with Colin. Abby will insist on tagging along.
Meanwhile, Theo will drop by to see Lola in Society’s kitchen. He’ll get her to agree to a first date in New York before making an admission. Theo will talk about what happened with Jack earlier, but he’ll think all the other issues seem to fade when he’s with Lola. Lola’s the first person who’s made Theo want to be better.
