The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, March 3, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will face a difficult decision. Y&R fans know Newman Enteprises is in a bind at the moment. Victoria Newman’s (Amelia Heinle) recovery will take a while, so Victor has to put someone else on the throne in the meantime.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) offered to step up, but Victor only agreed to consider the idea. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) has made it clear that he’s not interested in a Newman comeback, but Victor suspects he’ll come around. Since the alternative is letting Adam take the reins, it’ll be a powerful motivator for Nick – who still doesn’t trust his brother.
No matter what Victor decides, it seems Nick will wind up sitting in the CEO chair. We know Victor will urge Nick to rise to the challenge. He might present an ultimatum in Tuesday’s episode.
Victor could insist that if Nick won’t help, he’ll have no choice but to pick Adam. That might be enough to convince Nick that he has to do this for his family.
Speaking of family, Victoria will be glad to see Reed Hellstrom (Tristan Rogers) on Tuesday. Previous Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news pointed to Reed’s arrival on Monday, but there must’ve been some airdate confusion due to past preemptions.
Whatever the case, it’ll still be nice to see Reed support his mom as she recovers from her horrific ordeal.
Things will be far less heartwarming across town. In Monday’s episode, March 2, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) hooks up with Lindsay (Kirby Bliss Blanton) the bartender. She’s sitting on the couch in a silk robe with Lindsay when Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) unexpectedly enters.
Naturally, Y&R fans are curious to see Tessa’s reaction on Tuesday. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Mariah’s plan will flop, so she might try to fudge the truth or turn this around on Tessa at first. That’s not going to fly since Tessa can clearly see what went down. She wasn’t born yesterday!
Tessa wanted to reassure Mariah that she wasn’t cheating with Tanner Watts (Chase Coleman), but Mariah’s been cheating instead. She may suspect that Mariah’s own behavior influenced her view of the Tanner situation.
After all, Tessa has no way of knowing how long this has been going on. She also happens to know Lindsay from her trips to the Matchbox, where Lindsay used to work.
Mariah may explain that it’s not what it looks like – not exactly anyway. It was a physical thing, but there was no emotional connection behind it. Mariah doesn’t love Lindsay, but her lack of feelings may make this even worse.
Tessa may think Mariah hooked up with the first blonde bimbo she could get in the sack! She’ll certainly have a lot to think about when she walks out on Mariah.
Tessa will rejoin Tanner on tour, but this storyline is far from over. We’ll still see plenty of Mariah and Tessa in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned to watch them tackle their latest obstacle. The Young and the Restless spoilers confirm “Teriah” will work though this in time.
