The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Tuesday, September 1, tease that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will take steps to help his son. At the penthouse on Monday, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) opens the door and sees Victor standing there.
Victor will be allowed in on Tuesday’s Y&R episode, so Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may make herself scarce.
Victor will likely speak with Adam in private as he tries to help him work through the Kansas trauma. Unfortunately, Adam is too down on himself to truly accept any kind of assistance right now.
It’s doubtful there’s anything Victor could say or do to convince Adam that he’s not a ruthless killer. Even so, you can bet Victor will try.
While Victor addresses this complex situation with Adam, Chelsea will talk to Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) about it. This conversation may turn tense, especially after Nikki offers a warning.
Nikki may feel like Chelsea’s being too pushy and handling this incorrectly. There’s a risk to pushing since you can easily push someone away in the process.
Maybe Adam just needs to feel what he feels for a while, but Chelsea can’t deal with the idea of Adam thinking he’s a monster. Chelsea intends to stand by her man no matter what, so she may remind Nikki of that.
Of course, the topic of Sharon Newman’s (Sharon Case) involvement may also come up. There’s a chance Nikki’s warning could pertain to Sharon and her close bond with Adam.
Whatever the case, Chelsea will plan to do everything in her power to get Adam past this crisis. Alas, The Young and the Restless spoilers say that’ll be easier said than done! Over with Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), she’ll show off her independent side. That sounds like code for being rude and harsh to Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) again.
Theo wanted to be absolutely certain Lola was ready to take the next step before they took it. Lola was brimming with confidence about knowing she wanted to hit the sheets with Theo, but she had second thoughts about that decision later – and admitted it to Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes).
Casual encounters just aren’t really Lola’s thing, so she’s struggling.
When Theo gave Lola the opportunity to confide in him, she totally bit his head off. Lola was outraged over Theo thinking she might’ve been on the rebound when they slept together. All Theo was trying to do is keep the lines of communication open and make sure Lola was OK.
It’s clear that Lola still has lingering issues thanks to what happened with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), which is understandable. Nevertheless, Theo’s doing his best! Lola just needs to be honest about how she’s feeling and let Theo go with the flow.
Theo’s more than willing to do that based on what he’s said to Lola. Sadly, it looks like Lola may just give Theo attitude and keep him at a distance for now.
