The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Chance Chancellor (Justin Gaston) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) are all in on their family plan.
Abby was a bit uncertain when they first discussed the idea, but it didn’t take long for her to get on board. Since then, Abby has only become more convinced that a baby with Chance is absolutely what she wants.
After fearing she might lose Chance due to the bullet he took, it really put things into perspective for Abby. It made Abby see that she didn’t want to waste any time.
Of course, Abby and Chance are now married, so the wedding’s out of the way. All that’s left to do is focus on preparing for a little one and looking forward to parenthood.
Naturally, Y&R fans are just waiting on the inevitable obstacle that’ll land in Abby and Chance’s path. It’s possible some infertility issues are on the horizon, but it’s also possible the real baby drama could come later.
The Young and the Restless might present a miscarriage as a challenge or perhaps a high-risk pregnancy that brings some fears.
Whatever the case, the show will surely give Abby and Chance some children eventually. Their kids will be legacy kids in every sense of the word! We need some little Newman Abbott Chancellors running around, so there’s no reason to think Y&R won’t make Chance and Abby parents down the road.
Maybe The Young and the Restless could even let them add to their brood a bit faster than anticipated. Abby mentioned that three kids sounded about right, but what if they get a two-for-one deal to start them off? Could Abby wind up expecting twins?
Abby had a nightmare in October about triplets, which turned into a nightmare about quintuplets. That’s a lot of babies for Y&R to dish out, but twins certainly aren’t unheard of on soaps.
The Young and the Restless might run with the multiple babies idea and give Abby two kids from the get-go.
Abby and Chance recently debated baby names on their honeymoon, so they already have boy and girl names in mind. It’d be awfully sweet if Y&R offered them one of each, so maybe Abby could get pregnant with both a boy and a girl.
Then again, twin girls or twin boys would be just fine, too. Abby and Chance would no doubt be thrilled no matter what!
