The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that there’s some huge exit news to report – and it’s coming straight from Tyler Johnson (Theo Vanderway). Y&R fans know Theo’s been a pretty problematic character throughout his run in Genoa City.
Unfortunately, it looks like Theo will get caught in one jam too many! According to Johnson himself, he’s OUT at the CBS soap.
Let’s look at some of Johnson’s most recent tweets, which serve a confirmation of his departure. Johnson started out with a cryptic “That’s all folks!” That led to questions, so Johnson eventually posted another more definitive announcement about his looming exit.
Johnson has apparently wrapped filming and wanted to let everyone know Theo’s run was coming to a close.
“I’ve always been an optimist,” Johnson said. “Today isn’t an end, but a new beginning. Thank you to everyone tuned in to watch “Theo Vanderway”- it was all a blast. The future is bright. Love you all.” Johnson included a heart in that tweet and has indeed been showing love to his devoted fans on Twitter.
When one fan begged Johnson to say he wasn’t leaving, he sadly couldn’t do that. “I wish I could,” Johnson replied. “But, I will never forget an ounce of kindness you’ve shown me.” Johnson shared other messages about looking onward to the next project. He intends to keep fans in the loop on wherever his career takes him next.
Obviously, Johnson was clear about being done at Y&R – though he assured fans it was an absolute pleasure playing Theo. We know Theo’s going to sue the Abbott family for Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) fortune according to Young and the Restless spoilers.
That should play a role in the buildup to Theo’s looming departure. It sounds like Theo will cross every line in the book before he goes!
As other Y&R news comes in, we’ll bring you updates. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Theo’s exit will come with some drama, so stay tuned. CDL’s where you want to be for sizzling Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news, so be sure to pop back in soon.
