The Young and the Restless spoilers has some fun news to pass on about a popular Y&R star. Tyler Johnson, who portrays Theo Vanderway on the CBS soap, shared some exciting news with his social media followers recently. Tyler introduced his followers to his brand-new puppy named Echo.
On Twitter, Tyler posted a video snippet of himself along with Echo in the car, then a day later he posted an adorable close-up shot of the active puppy along with the following tweet: “I got her to sit still!!! (For anyone curious as to the breed, I’m not sure yet…any guesses?) Also, thank you for humoring me. I present to you…’Echo!’ My heart is full.”
One follower replied to Tyler with some possible answers about Echo’s possible breed, saying: “Definitely some German Shepherd or Husky in there.” To that, Tyler responded: “I love the mystery of it all. She’s my little everything.”
Tyler got a response from his Y&R co-star Christian LeBlanc, who portrays Michael Baldwin on the show. Christian responded simply by saying: “BEAUTEOUS!!!”
Tyler posted a couple of other shots of Echo, including one captioned: “It’s just a puppy photo frenzy! (I’m sorry! I just love her so much!)” and another showing Echo happily sitting in the back seat of Tyler’s car. Echo looks like a real sweetheart and she clearly has a wonderful home with her new dad.
Amidst the comments about Tyler’s new puppy were plenty of comments from fans who are looking forward to seeing him back on Y&R when the new episodes come back.
When things left off, Tyler’s character Theo was pining after Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and he had just been fired from his job at Jabot after he poached a presentation that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) set him up with.
