The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update Thursday, December 3 – Kyle Defends Sally – Chance Scammed – Lily’s Security Footage Plan

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Thursday, December 3, teases that plenty of honeymoon problems pop up. For starters, Chance Chancellor (Justin Gaston) carries Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) over the threshold of their island cabana. Their faces fall as they enter since it looks so junky and terrible.

On Thursday’s Young and the Restless episode, Abby assumes Chance has pranked her and thinks the pigs outside were a nice touch. She wants to head to their REAL honeymoon suite, but Chance admits they’re looking at it. “This is clearly a storage unit for some old shabby furniture!” Abby exclaims in disbelief.

Abby eventually chuckles over her detective husband getting ripped off based on the lovely pictures online. Chance hates that it turned out like this and suggests they could fly to another island, but Abby has everything she needs right here. She pulls her hubby into a passionate kiss.

Abby spruces the place up to make it more livable for them. She talks about how euphoric she feels when she’s with Chance. Abby will never take a single moment of their life together for granted. After checking the mini fridge, they find Champagne and the food Chance had delivered. The newlyweds consider it a win.

Chance is happy it’s just the two of them alone on an island. Abby says she’s on her way to being perfect, but she really wants to know how Chance is feeling after the long trip.

Chance is getting stronger every day, though he suggests pulling the Murphy bed down and getting some rest. Abby thinks maybe they should rest on their private beach instead.

Back in Genoa City, there’s debate about where Chance and Abby should live once they return to Genoa City. The remaining guests from the wedding bicker sweetly about it.

Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) thinks Abby and Chance could stay at the Chancellor mansion, especially since Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) have been house-hunting.

Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) suggests the Abbott manse – perhaps in the pool house. Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) contends that Abby and Chance will probably want to get a place of their own. Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) agrees and suggests they can plant roots as well as start a family.

Ashley gushes about the chubby-cheeked baby she’s going to spoil rotten. Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) can imagine it and gets choked up. Ashley is so glad Abby has finally found her ideal match in Chance.

At The Grand Phoenix, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) wants to join Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), who admits he’s waiting on his date. Sally suggests they wouldn’t want anyone to get the wrong idea, but she joins Billy anyway.

Billy can’t imagine working as an executive assistant was high on Sally’s list of goals, but she points out someone has to do it.

“I’ve been told I bring a certain style and class to everything I do,” Sally insists. Billy thinks Fenmore’s is lucky to have her. “Your words, not mine,” Sally quips. She ends up talking about running Spectra Fashions, so Billy realizes she’s the famous Sally Spectra.

Billy would love to hear the story of how Sally went from running her family business to becoming Lauren Fenmore’s (Tracey E. Bregman) gopher.

Billy can understand the need to prove yourself and rise above everyone thinking you earned things based on nepotism. Sally needed a change of pace and scenery, so that’s part of why she landed in Genoa City.

Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) appears as Sally and Billy are chatting, so she raises an eyebrow as she greets them. When Lily hopes she didn’t keep Billy waiting long, Sally says she kept Billy occupied. “Sorry, you are?” Lily wonders with a nervous laugh. “Kidding!” Sally insists.

Billy introduces Lily to Sally before wishing the redhead luck. Once Sally saunters off, Billy insists Sally was just looking to network. Billy would much rather network with Lily.

Up in Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) suite, Summer Newman (Hunter King) wants to hear all about the nuptials. She asks about Abby and Ashley’s dresses, but Kyle can’t tell her much other than that they were beautiful.

“Kyle, come on were you even at the wedding?” Summer teases. Kyle couldn’t stop thinking about Summer while he was there. Summer opted not to attend so she could stay out of the spotlight and avoid questions about their status. They settle in for a movie called The Awful Truth.

“What the heck, Kyle! It’s in black and white!” Summer exclaims. Kyle protests that it was one of Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) favorites, so Summer relents – though he owes her. After the WiFi goes down, Summer suggests going to the Abbott mansion to watch the movie instead.

Back at the Chancellor mansion, the gang talks about the teardrop of love. Jack is confident it’ll bring Abby and Chance a lifetime of happiness. Tracy notes that she’s already laid everything out for this to be the story for her next novel and says Nina can write the screenplay later.

That is the most romantic and magical story I’ve heard in forever!” Esther gushes. Ashley jokes that Esther can borrow her earrings if Mr. Right comes along. Jack is convinced that there’s magic in those precious gems.

As the party breaks up, Jack decides to return to the Abbott mansion with Tracy and Ashley.

In The Grand Phoenix lobby again, Sally spots Kyle and Summer leaving. She didn’t realize they were back together, but Summer insists they “definitely are.”

Sally congratulates Summer on the new job running the Jabot Collective and would be happy to offer advice if she needs it. “Would you?” Summer asks – clearly not happy about the offer.

Sally argues that she has years of experience running her own multimillion-dollar company. “There’s practically nothing I don’t know,” Sally says before wishing Summer “nighty-night.” Once Summer’s alone with Kyle, she fumes over Sally being condescending.

Kyle thinks Sally may be covering up some insecurities since she went from having a high-powered job to not having one.

Summer thinks Kyle’s guidance sounds like what she used to tell him about Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson). She sighs and agrees not to let Sally get under her skin. Summer and Kyle decide they’d better get going so they can watch their movie.

Next, Billy talks to Lily about Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) thinking he’s guilty in the shooting. Lily’s been mulling over how they can clear Billy’s name. She’s hoping the Chancellor Communications security footage is timestamped.

If they can prove Billy was nowhere near Chance or Adam when the shooting happened, they can prove his innocence.

Billy admits Victor had Adam committed to a psych ward. He acknowledges that maybe it’s part of an insanity defense strategy. Lily thinks it’ll be interesting to see if new evidence surfaces against Billy while Adam is locked up.

Billy says Adam has minions everywhere, so he’s always looking over his shoulder. In fact, Billy should probably find somewhere safe to sleep tonight. “Do you know anybody that might take me in?” Billy asks. He grins at Lily, who laughs and takes a sip of her drink.

Lily is glad Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) was able to enjoy the wedding despite Victor and his big mouth. “Yeah, he’s the definition of a buzzkill,” Billy admits. He feels like Victor wanted to rub it in Billy’s face that he’s a suspect.

Talk turns to how devastated Jill was when Lily and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) broke up. Billy says it was the same way when he split with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle).

They joke about how Jill isn’t exactly the role model of relationships due to all her exes. Billy praises Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) as a better example for Lily, though they had their issues.

At the Abbott mansion, Summer’s taken aback when Jack, Traci and Ashley return home so soon. Ashley thinks the teardrop of love is working it’s magic again. Ashley and Traci want to head up to bed, but Jack gushes about how much Dina loved The Awful Truth. Summer insists that Jack stay and watch with them.

Later, Summer stops the movie after realizing why Kyle wanted to watch it. The couple in the movie is just like them. Cheating suspicions drove them apart and they needed to just get over themselves. “You think I’m Cary Grant!” Summer declares. Kyle downplays the connection and insists Cary Grant isn’t his type.

Jack decides to head upstairs, but Summer and Kyle push him to stay. Jack says he’s already seen the last of the movie and knows how it ends. “It’s obvious,” Kyle insists. “They belong together. It’s a bumpy ride but definitely worth it.” Kyle and Summer look at each other lovingly.

Afterward, Kyle thanks Jack for inviting Summer to Thanksgiving. Jack is proud of Kyle for not giving up on his runaway bride. Kyle thinks it’s easy to do since Summer is happy and keeps him on his toes.

At the cabana again, Abby talks to Chance about the box of marriage advice cards. They laugh about some and embrace ideas in others. After chatting about how resourceful their kids will be, Abby jokes about how she should book the room the next time they travel.

The rain starts outside, so Abby isn’t pleased about it ruining their moonlight stroll plans. However, Chance stays optimistic that it’ll pass soon. This is the start of giving Abby a lifetime of nights to remember. Later, Abby and Chance realize there’s no Murphy bed after all. There’s only an air mattress.

Chance asks if Abby knows what they should do. Abby suggests killing the person who scammed them out of the honeymoon of their dreams. They read Nikki Newman’s (Melody Thomas Scott) marriage advice about love being patient and kind. Chance insists this is just a bump in the road.

He blows up the mattress and Abby gets a blanket to cover it.

This isn’t what Abby was envisioning for their wedding night, but she’ll make it work. Chance thinks Abby must really love him to put up with this. Abby has no regrets and says this is the first of a lifetime of adventures together.

She wants to hop a flight to Bora Bora tomorrow and start the honeymoon of their dreams. Chance suggests starting now and they laugh as they bounce on the air mattress.

In GC again on Thursday’s Y&R episode, Billy pushes Lily to have one more drink with him. “Well, you could walk me to my room and see what develops,” Lily says with a head tilt. She moseys toward the elevator as Billy looks intrigued.

We’ll offer updates as other Y&R news emerges. The Young and the Restless spoilers say some exciting curveballs are ahead on the CBS soap. CDL will have lots of other great Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news for you, so stop by again soon.
