The Young and the Restless Spoilers Update: Tuesday, September 15 – Chelsea Spies Billy & Alyssa – Devon Faces Amanda Twin Proof

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers update for Tuesday, September 15, teases that some shocking moments are coming up in Genoa City. At Crimson Lights, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) has just returned from her trip when she joins Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic Zamprogna).

Nate hands over Amanda’s DNA results and assumes she’ll want to read them alone, but she insists alone is the last thing she wants to be.

Amanda admits that although what’s inside that envelope doesn’t change who she is, she’s never been more terrified in her life. Nate asks what Amanda Sinclair does when she’s scared, which emboldens her to open the envelope and check out the results.

At The Grand Phoenix, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) finds Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) at the bar and wonders what put that smile on his face. Jack slides a note down so Phyllis can see what’s on it. “Nothing in this world is more important than finding love,” Phyllis reads. Jack admits it’s the gist of what his father said, so he’s trying to figure things out.

On Tuesday’s Y&R episode, Jack updates Phyllis on the home movie he watched and Dina’s reaction of recognition. When Jack’s dad said those words, Dina stared straight at Jack with clear eyes – as present as could be. Jack feels like maybe Dina’s trying to send a message and impart some wisdom to her son.

Phyllis admits she’s not really buying his because it doesn’t sound like something Dina would say if she were lucid. Dina wasn’t the soft and cuddly type. Although Dina loved her family, she created an empire on another continent.

Phyllis suggests Dina would tell Jack to seek power and adventure, but “this is definitely not her message.” She slides the note back and leaves Jack looking glum.

After Phyllis handles a crisis in the kitchen, she seems hesitant to weigh in on Dina’s message again. Jack insists he can take it, so Phyllis acknowledges how fragile his relationship with his mother is. Phyllis thinks it’s natural for Jack to hold onto some nugget or tidbit.

Jack trusts Phyllis’ judgment, so she once again points out that Dina isn’t the sentimental type. If there was a hidden message, Phyllis doesn’t think it involves finding bliss through love.

Jack admits this new perspective is just what he needed. “Whatever message your mother wants you to know, I hope you find it. I really mean that,” Phyllis says.

Afterward, Jack calls Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and wants to watch the home movie again. He feels like he may have only been looking for one thing the first time around and wants to try once more. “Who knows what we’ll find?” Jack says.

At Society, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) spots Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) picking up her takeout order and wants to chat. Chelsea repeatedly shuts down Abby’s attempts to talk, so Abby brings up Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico).

She hopes Chelsea can shut down the reporter who keeps snooping around Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz).

Chelsea sits down with Abby, who admits Alyssa approached Chance about Vegas. “That’s all?” Chelsea asks. “Isn’t that enough?” an irritated Abby asks. Chelsea feels like Alyssa will eventually hit a wall and give up.

Abby notes that Chance doesn’t share that optimism. She can tell Chelsea’s got a lot on her mind and assumes this about Adam.

Chelsea admits that things have been rough for her lately, but if anyone comes after Adam – they’ll have to go through her. Abby worries Chance isn’t giving her the whole story and rants about relentless Alyssa.

However, Abby and Chance have each other’s backs – just like Chelsea and Adam’s have each other’s backs, too.

Chelsea seems pensive, so Abby asks if she’s OK. Chelsea notes that she got distracted for a second, but she’s glad Abby and Chance are good. Abby suggests that Victor and Adam’s issues don’t concern her.

Chelsea is Abby’s friend, so Abby intends to support her in any way she can. Abby also promised to make sure Chelsea walked out with hot food, so she leaves to go get it and offers a reminder. “I got your back, girl,” Abby insists.

Meanwhile, Alyssa shows up at Chancellor Communications, where Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) asks if they can help each other. Alyssa eventually admits she’s thought about Billy’s offer to come work for him, but there’s a certain quality about him that worries her. Billy’s surprised when Alyssa admits it’s his honesty.

Alyssa worries about them both being so invested in this story. It’s a personal vendetta for them, so things could get dangerous and explosive. There’s no one to pump the brakes if need be.

Billy argues that someone without a stake in the story might tell Alyssa to hold back. Billy isn’t scared of anything and just wants the truth out there – no matter the cost.

Alyssa reflects on her father telling her the enemy of his enemy was his most treasured friend. She wonders if AJ Montalvo was right, so Billy suggests there’s only one way to find out.

The details of the deal are locked in, but Alyssa frets about getting screwed over like she did with Adam. Billy insists that won’t happen before taking a call from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil).

Billy keeps that call short and neglects to mention his new deal. Alyssa wonders how far Billy’s willing to go with this story, so Billy suggests there’s no limit.

Alyssa follows up with a question about what would make Billy kill the story, so he replies that there’s nothing that would. “Not even if someone you love was involved, even if it cost you in ways you could never imagine?” Alyssa asks.

Billy’s waited a long time to bring the truth about Adam to light. He wants to know what it’ll take to make Alyssa sign on the dotted line. They keep at it before Billy asks Alyssa what she envisions happening with this story.

Alyssa would love to see Adam in prison, but she knows that won’t happen. Telling the public what Adam has done is the next best thing.

Billy seeks confirmation that they’re doing this, so Alyssa admits she’s never wanted anything as much as she wants this story to blow up Adam’s entire world. “Good,” Billy replies on Tuesday’s Young and the Restless episode.

At the ranch, Summer Newman (Hunter King) has a super exclusive bottle of tequila that she wants to drop off for Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), so Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) tags along.

Kyle notices Summer isn’t wearing the cherry-stem ring he made for her, so Summer reminds him their engagement is supposed to be their little secret. The ring is tucked away in Summer’s jewelry box.

After Summer heads off to look for her grandpa, Victor finds Kyle messing with his chess set. Kyle explains the reason he’s there with Summer, who hasn’t found Victor yet.

Victor’s looking forward to chatting with the married man who’s “shacking up” with his granddaughter. Kyle gets that the situation isn’t ideal, but he assures Victor the divorce papers should be signed any day now.

Kyle also makes a speech about how Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) found a way forward following their split. He feels like they’ve all learned a lot about love. Victor thinks it was an expensive lesson and reflects on Kyle going through two divorces as well as breaking two hearts.

Victor reminds Kyle that he previously promised to share his life with Summer and stand by her. “And yet you ended up with this Lola woman,” Victor says. Kyle gets that he screwed up, but he wants to be happy with the woman he belongs with: Summer.

Summer eavesdrops as Victor brings up the idea of Kyle marrying again. Victor wants to know if he’s supposed to believe Kyle will be true to Summer this time around.

Suddenly, Summer bursts in and insists there’s something Victor needs to know. She launches a speech about how Lola is in Kyle’s past, so “Skyle” is the future now.

Kyle jumps in before Summer can say more. He talks about being irresponsible and perhaps should’ve waited until his divorce was final before reuniting with Summer, but he couldn’t bear it.

Kyle’s only goal is to prove to that he belongs with Summer. He intends to make the commitment real when the time’s right. “I’m the last person you want to disappoint,” Victor warns.

After Victor steps out, Summer argues that she was trying to help Kyle. She doesn’t get why Kyle stayed silent about their plans. Kyle didn’t want to tell Victor about their engagement just to get Vic off his back.

He respects that Victor was defending Summer’s honor, but Summer worries that Victor could really up he ante here. Kyle smiles and suggests he’d better live up to his promises.

At Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) penthouse, he explains Amanda’s rare blood type matching up with Hilary Curtis Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) acknowledges how tough this must be for Devon and wonders what it’ll mean for him if the DNA test proves Hilary has a twin sister.

Devon isn’t sure how he’ll feel if it’s true and reflects on how Hilary would feel if she were still here. He thinks Hilary would be excited, though there might be some confusion and anger mixed in.

Of course, Hilary isn’t around – and Devon’s feelings don’t really matter according to him. All this is going to do is create a lot of what ifs, whys and hows.

Back at Crimson Lights, Amanda seems thrown for a loop now that she’s seen what’s in the envelope. She has to go see Devon and tells Nate that she’d better do it on her own.

As Nick exits the penthouse, Amanda shows up to reveal the DNA results to Devon. Once they’re alone, Amanda tells Devon that she isn’t as one of a kind as she thought and confesses Hilary was her twin.

Nick makes his way to The Grand Phoenix, where he advises Phyllis to call Amanda – who’s probably going to need a friend today. At Society again, Chelsea looks nervous as she spots Alyssa sitting down with Billy.

Chelsea can tell that bad news is brewing, so stay tuned to see how she handles the hot drama ahead! The Young and the Restless spoilers say there are more twists looming on Y&R. CDL will have other great Young and the Restless spoilers, updates and news to read up on, so be sure to pop back in often.
