The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will lay down the law with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). During the week of January 13-17, Victoria will decide it’s time to deliver a stern ultimatum. She’ll try to force Billy into a choice, so it’ll be interesting to see the circumstances that lead up to this demand.
We know Victoria will soon discover just how close Billy and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) are getting. It’ll immediately spark jealousy, insecurities and questions about the nature of Billy’s friendship. Victoria might come right out and ask Billy if he’s having an affair.
Of course, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Billy will deny it – and that’ll be true in terms of what hasn’t been done in the bedroom. However, Billy does feel remarkably comfortable with Amanda.
He’s formed a connection with her that’s only going to grow over the next couple weeks. The closer Billy gets to Amanda, the bigger the trust issues for Victoria to deal with.
Victoria thought Billy was the perfect man, but that’s really the problem. Billy feels like Victoria expects him to be perfect, but there are no expectations with Amanda. She’s become awfully appealing to Billy, so Victoria will be risking a lot by delivering this ultimatum.
If Victoria says it’s me or Amanda, Billy could easily choose his new dive bar confidant. He might decide this ultimatum is his ticket to freedom and would allow him to move beyond the friend zone with Amanda. Y&R could use this as what finally ends “Villy.”
Then again, that might be a bit too easy. Billy’s been doing whatever he can to hang onto Victoria and their family. There are kids involved, so that raises the stakes. Plus, Billy really fought hard to put this unsatisfying life of his back together. Throwing it away for a woman he doesn’t even know all that well might be unwise.
Billy may try to cut off this Amanda thing and keep his focus on Victoria. Unfortunately, Billy’s never been great about dealing with temptation. Victoria’s ultimatum could backfire spectacularly if she forces Billy to pull back from Amanda.
Billy may find himself desiring Amanda in ways he never expected and eventually surrender to excitement of an affair. Will Victoria ultimately catch Billy and Amanda in a moment of passion?
