The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will blur the lines between her personal life and her professional life. During the week of August 31-September 4, Victoria will inject a little fun into the corporate grind. All work and no play makes Victoria a dull gal, so she might as well do something to spice things up.
Y&R fans can expect Victoria to engage in some lighthearted banter with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) – most likely during a trip to see Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) at Chancellor Communications. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Victoria will get downright flirty with Theo!
Of course, both Theo and Victoria may view it as harmless fun. As Theo has pointed out before, he’s a natural flirt. It’s really no big deal to Theo, who often uses his good looks and charm to get ahead. For Theo, life is just one big smoozefest where you work every angle you can.
However, being overly flirtatious has landed Theo in trouble before – and it just might happen again, albeit in a different way. In a recent interview with Michael Fairman, Amelia Heinle suggested that romance was in Victoria’s future and added that the show was “teasing something” that interested her.
Having Victoria flirt with Theo would certainly qualify as teasing something! If Heinle suspects a Theo and Victoria romance, we should probably suspect it, too. There’s no guarantee this will turn into anything major, but it could easily cause problems for Theo and Lola.
During the week of September 7-11, The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lola will intentionally keep Theo at a distance. Playing hard to get is a common tactic in early soap romances. Lola will basically act like she’s not all that interested – just to give Theo a challenge and hopefully make herself even more appealing.
Naturally, Lola’s plan could backfire if Theo actually believes she’s no longer into him. Theo may worry that he’s botched this horribly. This is the kind of confusion that could lead to real issues – especially if flirty Victoria’s looking for a good time when Theo needs a pick-me-up!
