The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers reveal that there’s one character who could really use a reboot on the CBS soap. When Y&R last left off, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) had won back the CEO seat at Newman Enterprises. However, it came at a steep price!
Victoria’s actions led to Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) finding out the truth about AJ Montalvo’s death, so Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) obviously wasn’t happy about that. Victor reluctantly put Victoria back on the throne, but he insisted she’d lost his respect.
It seems like Victoria’s become obsessed with power and control, so Y&R really needs to make some character adjustments in new episodes. What kind of changes would you like to see in Victoria’s life? Here are three ways Victoria can ditch the power trip and focus on finding a better path for herself.
1) Blooming love Fir Victoria Newman
Victoria can’t be all about work or else it’ll consume her. Will Victoria find herself a new love interest in upcoming episodes? Whether Victoria goes for something casual or perhaps falls for someone with long-term potential, she’ll surely be paired up again eventually.
Nobody stays single forever on The Young and the Restless, so this could be a good way for Victoria to become less of a workaholic.
2) Another CEO shakeup
Y&R fans know by now that nothing’s ever set in stone when it comes to that CEO seat. It’s like a game of musical chairs when it comes to which Newman will be running it! Victoria’s already on thin ice with Victor, so there are no guarantees she’ll be able to stay at the top. If Victoria is forced out, that could force her to reflect and figure out what’s next. Maybe a better job is out there waiting.
3) Build some friendships
Victoria doesn’t really have any gal pals to unwind with, so it’d be nice if Y&R could rectify that on new episodes. Once Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) recovers, maybe her bond with Victoria could grow.
Victoria appreciated Sharon’s help when she was dealing with all her trauma. They connected, so maybe Sharon and Victoria can continue to help each other as their storylines move forward.
