The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is earning a nickname that’s comparable to her father’s infamous moniker. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) is the current target of the Chief Executive Officer of Newman Enterprises, with a shock about to be felt.
Phyllis was determined to rebrand herself when she returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin in 2019. That was part of Y&R’s recast of this character, as Gina Tognoni (Phyllis) was replaced by the returning Stafford, who is the original Phyllis.
Victoria’s latest vicious move seeks to push Phyllis out of the Grand Phoenix Hotel, which was Red’s touchstone project.

Leanna Rudolph (Barbara Crampton) once dubbed Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) Ruthless in a best-seller biography that was written under the pen name, Nora Randall. Victor later married Leanna, after which she published a positive biography about the Moustache.
Their time together ended after Victor learned that Leanna wrote the book that slammed him. Fast-forwarding through the VHS tape era, Victor came to buy The Leanne Love talk show and then he fired her.

The Grand Phoenix appears to have been jinxed since it’s opening. Initially, it was the site of a purposefully dangerous punch spike, which sickened many attendees. Later random guests began pranking the GP in order to further it’s shaky reputation.
Simon Black (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) took hostages in an attempt to get an assumed payoff from GP’s part-owner, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan).
Among other things, departing part-owner, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), also bought property directly across the street, as part of a presumed split from her business arrangement with Phyllis. Abby did so in order to build a spite hotel.
But Phyllis overcame all of the above obstacles until Victoria assumed control of the debt Stafford’s character took on when buying out Abby.

The attempt to slice Phyllis from her comeback vehicle won’t be accepted. But Victoria has plenty of capital and corporate might to cover whatever legal response Phyllis might offer.
However, the deeper problem Victoria could face is Phyllis’ reconnection with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), which could give her a potential edge to play personal politics.
And everyone who knows Phyllis recognizes that she has risen from the ashes like the mythical Phoenix on many occasions. Why bet against that happening now?
