The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for Wednesday, December 30, tease that we’ll see everyone gear up for some exciting nuptials. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) are set to tie the knot, so those in the wedding party will be buzzing around trying to get all the last-minute preparations taken care of.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will do her part to make sure Sharon has a chance to relieve any stress as the wedding approaches. Some jitters are natural, but Mariah will pamper her mom with some fun things before the ceremony begins.
Sharon will eventually don her gown and get her glam on, so she’ll be a lovely bride once it’s time for the ceremony.
Of course, Rey mentioned that Arturo Rosales (Jason Canela) would be back in town for the big event, so look for Arturo to keep his promise. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Arturo will run into Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) before the wedding begins, so that’ll give these exes an opportunity to catch up.
There was some tension the last time Arturo and Abby ran into each other, which was at Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) nuptials.
However, that was mostly due to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) butting in. Nate wanted to make sure Abby was all right after crossing paths with her cheater ex!
Now that more time has passed, Abby and Arturo should hopefully be more comfortable chatting. Unfortunately, their conversation might take a troubling turn if Abby asks about the young son Arturo shares with Mia Rosales (Noemi Gonzalez).
Arturo might whip out some baby pictures and make Abby wish she had some pregnancy news to share. Abby still doesn’t have Chance Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) bun in the oven, so that’s something that’ll continue to frustrate Abby in the coming Y&R episodes.
Once Rey and Sharon’s wedding begins, someone’s set to crash it. We know Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will lurk and gaze at “Shey” nearby, but Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will try to stop him from causing a scene.
Will Phyllis be successful? If Adam does end up showing his face at the ceremony, it doesn’t look like he’ll successfully derail it.
Celeste Rosales (Eva LaRue) is another wedding crasher candidate since Rey doesn’t believe his mom is coming back to town. Rey only expects to meet up with Celeste in Miami after the wedding, so it’ll be a big surprise if she makes it to GC beforehand.
