The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 24-28 tease that we’ll see some romantic developments. For starters, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will wonder how things are going between Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). Nate and Amanda intend to go slow, but they’ve definitely got a nice spark.
Devon will hope Nate can find the same bliss he’s found with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), but there’ll definitely be some bonding going on between Devon and Amanda, too.
It’ll be interesting to see just how close Amanda and Devon get in the coming episodes! As for Elena, she’ll also connect with Amanda in the week ahead.
Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), they’ll tackle Katie Abbott’s (Sienna Mercuri) sudden crisis. Katie’s allergic reaction will lead to a breakthrough as Victoria truly makes peace with Billy.
Thankfully, Katie will pull through her bee sting ordeal and bring her parents together in the process.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will make things a bit harder for Billy – at least on the job. Billy tends to prefer fun and thrills over real work. Lily will present a challenge to Billy instead, so we’ll see if his work ethic’s what it should be.
Meanwhile, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will continue to support Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) passion project. Phyllis is cooking up a new women’s escape club for The Grand Phoenix, but she’ll need a little more assistance. Nick will be at Phyllis’ service, so she’ll have victory within sight soon enough.
Maybe Nick will help Phyllis with an expanded test run of her escape club. Phyllis will craft personalized experiences for Summer, Amanda, Lily, Elena, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway).
Each woman will have an escape that’s built around her own personalities and desires. Later, Phyllis will find a reason to celebrate, so we’ll see how long this lucky streak of hers lasts!
Next, a new chapter’s on the horizon for Traci. Will Traci have another book in mind? Traci and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) already collaborated on a book featuring the Abbott family’s history, but there may be more stories to tell.
Since some old love letters are supposed to be part of this plot at some point, Traci might consider using those as the foundation of a new book. Then again, this next chapter might involve the job Traci was offered at Chancellor Communications. Whatever the case, Y&R spoilers say Traci will have a new mission to keep her busy.
Elsewhere, Summer will make a startling choice – a decision that could make her happier. It looks like Summer will drop a bomb on Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) at their upcoming picnic, so perhaps this will involve a career shakeup.
Across town, Lola will put Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) to the test. Theo’s enjoyed serving as Lola’s taste-tester in the past, so she might bring back that role for him. Then again, this could be a more serious test – one to see if Theo’s really boyfriend material!
Later, Lola will share an electric moment with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), so that sounds intriguing. Old wounds could be reopened, but old feelings could bubble up, too.
Speaking of old feelings, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will fret over Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) past connection. Their history will make their latest arrangement troubling to Chelsea.
In another therapy session, Adam will move into risky territory with Sharon. They’ll grow closer as Adam sinks deeper into his memories and suffers through flashbacks of what happened that fateful Kansas night.
Afterward, Adam will go MIA – and that’ll lead Chelsea to suspect he flew to Vegas. Sharon will suspect Adam headed to Kansas instead, so she’ll go behind Chelsea’s back to seek some help.
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will let Sharon take his private jet to Kansas, so she’ll soon be on her way to meet up with Adam. Chelsea won’t be happy when she arrives at the ranch and gets updates.
She’ll feel deceived and betrayed, so Y&R fans can expect quite an outburst. This is all building to Chelsea following “Shadam” to Kansas, where she’s sure to get a shock.
Finally, Nick will face Victor’s warning. Victor’s working hard to protect Adam as best he can, so he may not want Nick to hinder that. Of course, Victor is also furious with Victoria right now and knows his family members will have to choose sides. As a result, Victor might warn that Nick had better side with his father!
