The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of August 31-September 4 tease that some tense conversations are in store. First, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will reach out to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) and hope for a truce. Victor isn’t happy with the decisions Victoria’s been making, but he’ll want to clear things up between them and try to find a way forward.
However, Victoria may not be very receptive to Victor’s push for peace. Not that it would matter anyway! Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will be on the verge of unleashing Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) childhood trauma through the story of a lifetime – Victoria’s the reason why.
Since Billy needs proof before he can run this story, he may seek out Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) for help. Speaking of help, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will remain determined to be Adam’s rock.
That’ll earn Sharon a warning from Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso), who’ll still feel like Sharon needs to back off – for the sake of her health if nothing else.
While Sharon and Rey argue, Adam will feel his world crashing down around him. As Adam continues to struggle with memories of killing AJ Montalvo, he’ll spiral out of control and leave Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) fearful.
Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will get updates on the situation and pass along some words of caution. Chelsea had better listen up or else she’ll cause more trouble.
Victor will put a lot on the line to assist Adam in the week ahead – and so will Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz). Y&R spoilers say Chance will get a visit he wasn’t expecting, so that might be Adam. They could easily rehash what happened in Vegas, where Adam killed a man to protect Chance.
Due to the recent revelations from Adam’s childhood, he may wonder if he was motivated by fear or rage in Sin City. Adam might worry that like AJ, he just wanted that guy in Vegas dead. Of course, Chance can remind Adam that’s not true. If Adam hadn’t stepped up the way he did, Chance wouldn’t be alive.
Next, there’ll be some situation where Chance has to lie for Adam, so Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) may not be pleased. If Abby finds out Adam’s dragging Chance into drama, she’ll undoubtedly warn her beau again. Back with Chelsea, she’ll fly off the handle and most likely blast Sharon once more.
On a different note, Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle) will be Miss Independent. Despite having a great first date with Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), Lola will be busy doing her own thing. Theo may wind up baffled or at least disappointed if Lola can’t make time for him.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will face some shockers. Some stunning details will line up between Amanda’s history and Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan).
There’ll be too many similarities to ignore, so Amanda will turn to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) for help – but only if it’s not too painful. An eventual twin bombshell should be brewing here.
Nick Newman’s (Joshua Morrow) relationship with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will also face criticism next week. That’ll leave Nick in a position where he feels forced to defend it. This could be a sign that conflict’s just around the corner for “Phick,” so stay tuned to see if Nick’s defense is bad news.
