The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of December 14-18 tease that we’ll see some rattled Genoa City residents. For starters, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will get some troubling updates regarding his career.
Y&R fans know Nate can’t perform surgeries due to the nerve damage in his hand, so he can’t fulfill all his duties at the hospital. That could have an impact on whether Nate can keep his job or not.
Whatever the case, Nate will worry as he deals with his position being in jeopardy. As for Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson), he’ll exchange warnings with Summer Newman (Hunter King).
Summer will once again warn Theo that this lawsuit is a bad idea. She’ll try to make Theo understand that greed is fueling his desires, so Theo will listen and actually be somewhat affected by Summer’s words.
Theo will also warn Summer that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is coming for her. Will Theo admit he suggested Summer’s jealousy over Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) was her kryptonite?
It’d help Summer to have a heads-up, but you can bet Sally will find a way to push Summer’s buttons and raise concerns no matter what.
Next, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will make some moves that leave Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) raising an eyebrow. Nick’s motives will be questioned, so this could lead to some conflict with Phyllis.
Across town, Nina Webster (Tricia Cast) will spend some time developing a real connection with Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). Y&R fans can also expect a special surprise for Abby and Chance Chancellor (Justin Gaston).
Perhaps Nina will have one last wedding present to give the happy newlyweds.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) will keep a close eye on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victor might have Adam followed – just to be sure his son isn’t going to cause any more drama.
That could lead to Victor uncovering Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) medical appointments eventually.
In the meantime, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will reach her limit when it comes to Adam and all the chaos he’s caused for her family. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki will have an angry meltdown and perhaps insist Adam should leave GC like he promised NOW!
While Nikki’s patience goes right out the window, Victor will maintain that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) must pay. It turns out Billy will at least spend a night in jail! That’s because Billy will find out Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) is the secret witness and try to confront her.
Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will attempt to avert this disaster, but there’ll be no stopping Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) from making another arrest. Once Billy’s locked up, he’ll have a strange dream involving Adam and most likely a few other familiar faces.
Back with Theo, he’ll talk to Brittany Hodges (Lauren Woodland) about his chances of winning in court. Theo will want Brittany to be straight with him, so she’ll admit it’s a longshot.
Although Brittany is an excellent attorney, she’s not a miracle worker. Brittany will vow to do what she can if Theo wants to move forward, but it’ll be in the judge’s hands.
Theo will contemplate whether he really wants to go through with this or not. That’ll lead to another confrontation with Jack, where harsh words will be exchanged and emotional confessions will be made. There’ll be some powerful moments before Theo seals his future.
As for Jack, he’ll have some advice for Sally. Although Jack appreciates Sally’s can-do spirit, he also senses that it could get her in trouble. Jack may advise Sally to remember that slow and steady wins the race, but Sally seems determined to climb the corporate ladder ASAP.
Over with Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), she’ll kick her wedding planning up a notch – and Rey will be glad to help. While Rey and Sharon look forward to their looming nuptials, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) will push Lily to open up about her feelings for Billy.
Lily may get a warning to protect her heart since Billy can be such a wildcard.
