The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of January 13 to January 17 tease that we’ll see some shocking discoveries and big admissions. For starters, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will get busted. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will find a receipt from the dive bar Billy’s been frequenting and get suspicious. She’ll find it odd that Billy’s been hanging out somewhere she didn’t know about.
It sounds like Billy will have to provide some answers soon, but he may not share the whole story. Billy might suggest this dive bar is just his sanctuary. He may tell Victoria he goes there to clear his head, but he actually goes to do a lot more than that.
It’s sort of become Billy’s hideout to exchange deep confessions with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
Speaking of deep confessions, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will make one to Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) in the week ahead. He’ll come clean about being obsessed with Amanda, but he’ll probably insist that’s going to change.
Too bad Devon may not be able to keep that promise! It’s hard to shake an obsession with someone who has the face of your dead wife.
Amanda’s resemblance to Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) will continue to play a role in Devon’s fixation. Fortunately, Devon will get some support from Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) soon. She’ll be back in town for a visit, so she’ll gladly serve as someone to lean on. That goes for Billy, too!
Billy will open up to Lily while she’s in Genoa City. He’ll wonder if she’s got some advice, but it might be Amanda he’s seeking the advice for. Lily’s worked with inmates who have undoubtedly been abused, so she might be able to offer some guidance.
As for Victoria, she’ll eventually deliver an ultimatum. Victoria will lay down the law with Billy and perhaps insist they have to start communicating. She’ll be feeling awfully distant from Billy, so she’ll need honesty or else this just can’t work.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will be curious about “Chance” Chancellor’s (Donny Boaz) past. This may tie in with whatever shocker Chance and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are hiding.
Nick will interrogate Chance and possibly try to get some hints about what happened in Vegas.
Meanwhile, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will get put on the hotseat. Some situation will leave Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) wary of Chelsea and her ulterior motives, but Chelsea will likely insist she has none.
Nikki will also take a break from the drama at some point and give Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) a special surprise.
Adam may face a few surprises of his own, including Victor’s attempt to set the record straight. Victor will want to make his view on something crystal clear to Adam.
Back with Chance, he’ll get flirted with by Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Of course, Phyllis’ intentions will be less about romance and more about uncovering dirt – at least for now.
Across town, Y&R spoilers say Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will confide in Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). They may have a tough conversation about Sharon’s biopsy results. Sharon will lean on Nick later, so it sounds like her cancer story will start heating up.
