The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of June 29-July 3 teases that Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) and Christine Williams’ (Lauralee Bell) love story will be revisited. This Y&R couple has a rich and lengthy history, so there’ll be plenty of great moments in store for fans. Let’s look at what’s ahead in five exciting classics.
On Monday, The Young and the Restless will take us back to 1994, which brought a very special marriage proposal. In this encore, Paul revs up the romance in a big way as he asks Christine to be his wife. It’s always fun to watch someone pop the question on Y&R, so tune in for Paul’s grand gesture.
Tuesday’s 1994 episode brings Christine’s bridal shower along with a surprise guest. Paul’s mother, Mary Williams (Carolyn Conwell), shows up and joins the party, so that delivers quite a shock for Christine.
Next is Paul and Christine’s 1994 wedding day, which takes a stunning turn. Paul and Christine week wouldn’t be complete without one memorable scene! Longtime Y&R viewers know Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) once put the pedal to the metal and ran over “Cricket” – although the truth didn’t come out until much later.
Paul looks horrified in The Young and the Restless weekly preview video, which features Paul trying to save Christine and getting hit along with her. Christine and Paul’s nuptials have to be postponed as a result. That’s coming up on Wednesday, but the main wedding event is in Thursday’s 1996 classic. Christine and Paul tie the knot in a sweet ceremony with lots of love.
“I promise I will be here with you to face life: the good parts and the bad,” Paul says in his heartfelt vows. “Because you, Christine, are the woman I love and I will always love from this day forward. The Young and the Restless weekly preview video offers a glimpse of the nuptials as well as several other significant scenes in Paul and Christine’s past.
Friday’s episode is a gripping one from 2003, which features a frantic Paul shaking Isabella Braña (Eva Longoria) and demanding to know where Chris is. “She’s DEAD!!!” shouts vengeful Isabella in this week’s Y&R promo. Paul rushes to unconscious Christine and quickly scoops her up out of the bathtub Isabella tried to drown her in.
