The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of June 8-12 teases that another fantastic theme has been revealed. This time it’s “Romance Week,” so love will be in the air for many popular couples over the years. Let’s talk about Y&R’s weekly promo and all the heartfelt moments ahead.
“Romance Week” wouldn’t be complete without Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) getting lovey-dovey! The promo kicks off with “Niktor” front and center, which is fitting since their relationship has withstood the test of time. Nikki and Victor have certainly had obstacles get in their way over the years, but they’re truly meant to be.
However, Victor enjoyed a romance with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) as well, so Y&R will throw it all the way back to 1986 for those sweet scenes. “I still can’t believe it’s happening,” Ashley gushes to Victor in the preview video.
Another blast-from-the-past episode from 2001 features Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Nick’s romantic setup transports Sharon to another land when she enters the tent he’s prepared. Sharon feels like they’ve walked into a fairytale, so she’s definitely pleased with Nick’s grand gesture.
Billy Abbott (David Tom) and Mackenzie “Mac” Browning (Ashley Bashioum) fans are also in for a treat. In Y&R’s latest promo, Billy tells Mac that what they have is worth fighting for.
Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) and Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) love story is featured in the week ahead, too. “I want you,” Kevin says in a 2010 episode. “I want you, too,” Chloe replies and seals it with a kiss.
Next, Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has a romantic surprise for Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman) in a 2005 classic. The Young and the Restless promo shows Michael suggesting that big risks reap big rewards. He flips the cards on the table to ask Lauren to marry him, so this was definitely a memorable marriage proposal.
The promo wraps up with Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) second wedding in Provence, France. This 2012 encore will be a can’t-miss episode for “Lane” fans, so be sure to tune in.
