The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview teases that during the week of December 7-11 the legal case against Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will go forward full speed. In fact, the new Y&R preview shows Billy being processed at the GCPD after his arrest.
And given that the evidence is overwhelmingly pointing in Billy’s direction right now, Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) are going to do their best to make a case against Billy.
As the week of November 7-11 kicks off, viewers will learn that the cops have an eyewitness who puts Billy at the scene of the crime near the time when whoever was aiming at Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) missed and hit Chance Chancellor (Justin Gaston) instead.
As it will turn out, Billy will have indeed been at the scene of the crime, but he’ll have an innocent explanation for it.
Still, it seems that Billy won’t take his predicament as seriously as his attorney will. The preview promo shows Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) stressing to Billy that he’s been charged with shooting a cop, and that this is very serious.
Billy will insist that he didn’t do it, and he’ll seem to think that he’ll be naturally exonerated in time, but Amanda won’t be so sure.
Well, as the week progresses, The Young and the Restless spoilers tell us Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will get on board to help prove Billy’s innocence. Lily is shown in the promo telling Billy that she believes with her whole heart that he’s innocent.
“We have to figure out a plan,” Lily says urgently. Perhaps Lily will be able to get Billy to take this thing seriously – after all, he could go away for a long time if he’s convicted!
Lily will decide to take action immediately and she’ll have a sit-down with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) at Society, during which she fishes to see if perhaps Victor is the person who is framing Billy.
It looks like Lily will be pretty direct with Victor, who will insist that one way or the other, “Billy Boy Abbott” is going to get it.
“So, you did frame him,” Lily replies. Of course, Victor’s not going to admit anything to Lily about what he may or may not have done, but this whole thing is probably going to lead Lily to take over the cops’ job and do her own investigation.
Lily’s task will probably be twofold – she’ll probably want to look for the shooter as well as the person who framed Billy, which could be more than one person.
Y&R spoilers say that Billy will get on board with the effort, and he and Lily will work together to get to the bottom of what happened. And that may mean that Lily and Billy need to spread their net wider than just Victor, since it could be someone else who’s framing Billy.
It looks like we’ll see Lily and Billy undertake a full-scale operation here, and it may very well bring them closer emotionally.
At any rate, Y&R viewers should expect an exciting week! Stick with the CBS soap and don’t forget that CDL is your premiere source for all the latest Young and the Restless spoilers, updates, and news. We’ve got you covered!
