The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of October 5-9 tease that Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) will find herself desperate for a distraction. A very pregnant Chloe will be ready to pop, but she’ll have to wait a little longer.
As Chloe grows increasingly impatient, Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) will try to cheer Chloe up and get her mind on something else.
Unfortunately, Kevin’s quirky sense of humor won’t be what Chloe needs in this moment. Chloe will bite Kevin’s head off, but he’ll understand that Chloe’s uncomfortable and eager to get this show on the road.
Next, Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) will try her luck. After Esther recalls giving birth herself one stormy night, Chloe will be reminded of her mother’s love and will start to settle down. Esther will also give Kevin a pep talk as he prepares to be a father again – and that’s when Chloe will call out to them with huge news.
Baby Boy Fisher is coming, so Chloe and Kevin will have a special delivery to welcome soon enough. Over with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), he’ll do something risky.
That’ll most likely involve making a move on a vulnerable Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). It looks like a kiss or perhaps more will leave Elena torn about how much to reveal to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) later.
Meanwhile, Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) will be down in the dumps. As Faith’s classmates taunt her about the kidnapping and baby switch portion of the Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) article, the bullying will start to take a toll.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will pick up on how much Faith is hurting, so she’ll contact Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and hope he can help.
Nick will let Faith vent about the situation, so hopefully that’ll help her move forward. Y&R fans can also expect Nick to find out a secret, so we’ll see if that’s something he can use to his advantage. Next, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) will make an admission and stir up conflict with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) in the process.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Nikki and Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) marriage will get hit hard. There’ll be plenty of fighting over Adam and what’s best for him. Nikki’s bound to think Adam’s done more than enough damage, but Victor will refuse to give up on helping his son.
Elsewhere, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) make a startling connection after a chat with Lauren Baldwin (Tracey E. Bregman). Lauren’s surely a bit of a jewelry expert through her work at Fenmore’s, so maybe she can help Jack connect some emerald dots.
With any luck, Jack should get a step closer to figuring out how and why Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams) had that necklace.
Over with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll make a powerplay – perhaps a desperate one in hopes of keeping the CEO seat! That seat could be up for grabs again based on Victoria’s recent actions. The fact that Victoria did so much damage to the Newman family will really rile Nick up.
Nick will have a fierce faceoff with his sister, so Victoria had better watch her back when it comes to the Newman throne. As for Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), she’ll receive an offer that intrigues her.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will have to mull someone’s proposal over carefully and decide how to proceed.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will be off recovering from her surgery while Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) protects her future family. Abby and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) have been discussing the possibility of having kids and building a life together.
However, Abby will think there’s one crucial thing Chance needs to do if that’s ever going to happen.
Y&R spoilers say Abby will insist that enough is enough. Adam may be Abby’s own brother, but he’s toxic as far as she’s concerned. Since Chance’s association with Adam puts him at risk, she’ll argue that Chance should cut Adam out completely.
Abby won’t think Chance should have anything more to do with Adam at all.
Of course, it may not be that simple now that Adam’s world is falling apart. Chance might take pity on Adam and worry that he’s going to need Adam on his side if Vegas backlash strikes.
Perhaps it’d be better for Chance and Adam to be united on this. The fact that Adam saved Chance’s life will still matter to him, despite the chaos swirling around Adam daily.
This is sure to be a source of contention with Abby, who won’t understand why Chance can’t just let this friendship, alliance or whatever it is go! As Y&R details emerge, we’ll pass along updates.
