The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that some big relationship drama is coming this week, October 5-9, on the CBS soap. As Y&R viewers know, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) has been seriously perturbed with the ongoing friendship that’s been developing between Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan).
Elena has been stressed to say the least, and there’s been another element to her frustration as well, and that’s her growing friendship with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Well, the new promo for Y&R for the week of October 5th is all about the steamy situation that develops between Elena and Nate on Monday’s episode.
One look at the promo and viewers can clearly see what happens – Elena and Nate make love at the New Hope Clinic, and according to Y&R spoilers, it will all occur after they face a terrible tragedy together.
Elena will be upset over Devon’s continued conversations with Amanda, and her fears about Devon and Amanda possibly getting together will get the best of her.
She’ll lament to Nate that she feels the pull of Devon in Amanda’s direction even when she and Devon are intimate.
It will be a little too much information to share with just a friend, but the uncomfortable moment will be interrupted by a terrible realization – and that’s that Jared (Michael Maclane) has just burst in the door and collapsed on the floor of the clinic.
Y&R viewers will remember that Jared is the young man that Devon, Amanda, Nate, and Elena tried to help a while back.
Jared was living with his grandfather, who ultimately died, and then Jared ran away never to be heard from again.
Well, when Jared shows up at the clinic and collapses, Nate and Elena will realize that he’s overdosed on something and needs some serious help.
Once Jared is carted away in an ambulance, that’s when Nate and Elena will try to decompress from the situation. The adrenaline will still be flowing, and Nate and Elena will give in to the passion between them that’s been developing between them for a while.
They’ll end up making love in one of the exam rooms at the clinic, but very quickly, Elena will insist that it was all a big mistake. Nate will be beside himself as Elena demands that they never mention what happened again.
“What did we just do?” Elena laments in the promo. “This is a huge mistake – this should have never happened. We can never speak of this again!” Nate promises, then collapses onto a chair.
Of course, this move seems really out of character for both Elena and Nate. Viewers will remember that Nate has stated before on the show that he’d never go after someone else’s woman. Well, so much for that!
It appears that it’s going to be a difficult week for Elena and Nate, as they try to come to grips with what they’ve done, and with the secret that they’re now poised to keep from their significant others.
