The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers for the week of September 28-October 2 tease that some bad news is headed Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) way. Thanks to the listening device Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) planted, she’ll learn about Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) next move.
Adam and Chelsea will discover that the story’s moving forward, so it’ll be time to pass along a warning.
Adam will give Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) a heads-up on the expose since it involves Victor, too. Of course, Adam probably won’t show any real concern for his father.
This may be more about getting Victor to do something about it! Adam may tip off Victor as a last resort since Vic can be pretty menacing when he wants to be.
Victor will indeed pay Billy a visit to dish out some threats, but all Billy can think about is publishing this story and exposing all Adam’s viciousness. Billy certainly wants Victor to go down with Adam, so he won’t be shaking in his boots.
If anything, Victor’s threats may make Billy even more determined to make this story a hit.
Billy will want to make a splash at Chancellor Communications, but Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will have an awful feeling about this. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Lily will clash with Billy about the scandal they’ll spark.
Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is a great lawyer, but she’s clearly distracted with twin drama these days. Since Amanda isn’t at the top of her game right now, maybe that’ll play a role in the story eventually.
Regardless, Chance Comm will be opening themselves up to lawsuits and a press nightmare. Lily just won’t think the payoff will be worth it, but Billy will publish the article anyway. Y&R spoilers say the story will soon be out – and there’ll be no turning back.
As for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), she’ll get on Victor’s bad side again in the midst of all this. Victor may call Victoria out for teaming up with Billy. Victoria’s loyalty as a Newman will be questioned, but Victor should know by now that Vikki’s loyalty is long gone!
Over with Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), he’ll cook up his own plot against Adam – perhaps one designed to keep Adam far away from Sharon Newman (Sharon Case). Sharon’s next surgery is coming up, so Nick won’t want Adam causing more stress.
Despite Sharon’s fears for herself, she’ll shift her attention to Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind) in the week ahead. Sharon will find a way to protect Faith, which may mean downplaying her own concerns or even sending Faith off to do something fun with a friend.
Meanwhile, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will battle doubts about Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) future with Summer Newman (Hunter King). “Skyle’s” engagement will leave Jack fretting over whether this couple can really make it last.
Jack will also get updates on a new clue from Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), who’ll point her brother in the right direction somehow. Maybe this will lead to Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) upcoming discovery, which should tie in with Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) past.
That antique emerald necklace has to be significant, so the Abbotts will be on a mission for answers. Speaking of answers, Phyllis will have some of those for Amanda.
As Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) best friend and now Amanda’s bestie, Phyllis will be a great person for Amanda to talk to. She can reveal a lot about who Hilary was and what she was really like.
Lily will also find out about Amanda’s new status as Hilary’s twin, so that’ll bring some complex emotions. As for Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy), she’ll dream about Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) hitting the sheets with Amanda.
Afterward, Elena will keep that steamy dream a secret from Devon and choose to confide in Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) instead.
There’ll be a medical crisis for Nate and Elena to team up on as well – one that’ll hit them hard and bring them closer. Some sparks will fly for a surprising pair next week, so Elena and Nate might fit the bill.
Meanwhile, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) and Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will talk about what the future holds. Could marriage and a family be on the horizon?
Abby and Chance may not be ready to take any huge steps forward, but they could at least talk about some big dreams!
