The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers preview for the week of September 7-11 teases that some shockers are coming up in Genoa City. First, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will insist on going to her latest doctor’s appointment alone.
Since Sharon’s set to get her pathology results, she’ll feel like she’d rather process things on her own and not have to worry about feeling self-conscious.
Although Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) will understand that, he’ll still feel like he needs to be there for Sharon. Nevertheless, Sharon will be adamant that this is what she wants. She’ll dash off to her appointment alone and come home with her pathology report, which she’s already read.
Sharon will put the report on the table since Rey won’t be around. The Young and the Restless spoilers say Sharon’s mind will still be spinning, so she’ll leave again to clear her head. While Sharon’s gone, Rey will return home and notice the pathology report’s there.
Y&R fans can expect Rey to pick it up and open it to reveal some terrible news: Sharon’s cancer is back and even worse than before. Once Sharon returns and realizes Rey’s read the pathology results, she’ll break down in tears.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say Rey will have to pick up the pieces after Sharon crumbles. There’ll be some tough moments – and that goes for everyone else on “Team Sharon” as well. Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will eventually get a text that leaves him looking disheartened.
Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) will notice, so Nick will admit it’s from Rey.
It’ll probably dawn on Phyllis that this is about Sharon’s cancer. Nick will struggle since he still cares about Sharon a great deal, but he’ll have Phyllis to lean on. Phyllis has been supportive ever since she found out about Sharon’s diagnosis, so she’ll want to do whatever she can to help.
Other Y&R spoilers say Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will decide to move forward with his part in making Amanda Sinclair’s (Mishael Morgan) DNA test happen.
Amanda has already given her sample to Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), so now it’s Devon’s turn to hand over something with Hilary Curtis Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) DNA on it.
A new preview video for the week of September 7-11 shows Devon giving Nate a box that belonged to Hilary. “I’ve thought a lot about what Hilary would want and I’m pretty sure that she’d want me to give you this,” Devon says in the clip. “There should be enough material here to determine whether or not Amanda and Hilary are sisters.”
Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) will look unnerved by Devon’s decision, but the DNA test will proceed. It won’t be long until Amanda gets the results, reads them with Nate and heads over to Devon’s penthouse with updates.
