The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) has been fully supporting her husband as he’s been dealing with Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) latest act of petulance. The Moustache was forced by the son, that he had through Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman), to tell him how Alyssa Montalvo’s (Maria DiDomenico) father actually died in Kansas.
Victor felt disillusioned when Nikki admitted that she’d passed along what he’d told her in confidence about Adam. Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle) went straight to her long detested brother and purposely pushed enough buttons to provoke Adam to confront their dad.
Adam bolted to the Ranch and then was told that he, not Victor, had killed A.J. Montalvo (no actor’s name known for this role) when he was a child.
The above sequence of events can serve as the wedge that temporarily creates drama between Niktor, with Victor seeking advice from another trusted woman who’s dear to his heart.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Kansas Secret Creates A Wedge
Victor held the Kansas secret since Adam was eleven because of the compassion he had for his son. Adam obviously blocked the horrific event in his mind, which is why he doesn’t remember it.
But this quickly evolving issue was compounded by Nikki feeling that she had to pass along the reveal to Vickie. That happened because Thomas Scott’s character was trying to ease tension between her daughter and Victor, which exists because Vickie was dismissed as Chief Executive Officer and replaced by Adam.
Victor’s decision was intended to be temporary, which he told Victoria. Of course he didn’t explain the decision, which follows his longstanding personal pattern. Victor was trying to give himself time to resolve the situation without Adam needing to learn the truth about Kansas, which he now has.
Vickie was offered her position back after Victor ousted Adam, though that result left both children feeling angry and confused.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Victor and Ashley Have A Deep History
Victor’s other soul mate is Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), though she’s surely a different emotional match than Nikki.
Ashley has one of Victor’s children, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway), which allows Davidson’s character to maintain permanent status. It’s always bothered Nikki in knowing that a certain portion of Victor’s heart is reserved for Ashley.
Hardcore Y&R fans recalled seeing the famous casket scene, where Ashley visits Victor in Nikki’s dream sequence, that was recently rebroadcast. Nikki rises from the coffin at the Ranch’s old main house, telling Victor that she’s not actually dead.
Ashley leaves while Nikki awakens, but doesn’t witness that moment or the later conversation with Victor. It was one of Niktor’s more memorable fantasy sequences.
Young And The Restless Spoilers – Focusing On Modern Times
Y&R’s new episodes will be recorded when production is deemed safe to resume. But that point seems unknowable at this moment in time, with the first broadcast likely following weeks after the next fresh episode is able to be completed.
Whenever Niktor is seen again, Victor and Nikki will either decide to work through what has become a major family problem together, or they’ll seek advice elsewhere, as they’ve often done before.
As for Victor, Ashley has been and remains his go-to option, with Nikki’s anticipated knowledge of even one meeting naturally creating a justifiably negative response.
