The Young and the Restless (Y&R) Fall Preview spoilers tease that some stunning story developments are brewing. There’s plenty of conflict ahead in Genoa City, so things should get messy for several GC residents. We’ve got a fall preview for you, so let’s talk about what’s in store for all your favorite characters.
First, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be haunted by his deadly actions in Kansas. Now that Adam remembers killing AJ Montalvo, it’ll completely shift his way of thinking. Adam won’t feel like the same man anymore, so he’ll spin out and cause chaos for the people surrounding him
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) will feel like Adam’s keeping her at a distance – and you can bet she’ll blame Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) for that. Sharon will believe she’s just the person to help Adam through his nightmare, but Chelsea obviously won’t be on the same page.
However, Sharon will eventually shift her attention back to her own battle – the one she’s fighting against breast cancer. A tough setback’s coming up for Sharon, which means she’ll have to tackle her worst challenge yet.
Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) and the rest of “Team Sharon” will certainly rally around Sharon to help her through this dark period.
Over with Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), their rivalry will blow up to the point where Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) can no longer contain it.
Abby’s relationship with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) will also take a hit. What happened in Vegas will leave Chance drawn to Adam – much to Abby’s dismay!
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will remain power hungry and determined to eclipse the master. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) made a name for himself through Newman Enterprises, but now it’s Victoria’s turn.
Of course, power trips can often lead to trouble, so Victoria may be biting off more than she can chew.
Other Young and the Restless spoilers say Chloe Mitchell’s (Elizabeth Hendrickson) baby is set to arrive, so look for a bumpy ride. Chloe and Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) had better buckle up for some kid chaos!
As for the Abbotts, they’ll focus on a new adventure – and it ties in with Dina Mergeron’s (Marla Adams) past. Something significant from Dina’s history will have to be found.
Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) and Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) will all search for a piece of Dina and John Abbott’s (Jerry Douglas) early love story. The Abbott family will hope that by giving this final gift to Dina, she can gain a sense of comfort and closure before she dies.
Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) feud with Adam will rev up once again, so expect the tension to erupt over all the Kansas drama. Over with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan), she’ll be floored by a shocker – one that links to Amanda’s background and will pull Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) closer.
Since it’s obvious Amanda is Hilary Hamilton’s (Mishael Morgan) twin sister, that’ll undoubtedly be a game-changer. Devon, Amanda, Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) and Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) will be part of a storyline with some dangerous desires!
After Jared (Michael Maclane) – the young man they all tried to help – pops back up, he’ll bring an avalanche of complications.
As for Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes), she’ll make a shocking decision that affects her future with Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). This is set to play out as Y&R gears up for winter, so Sharon’s cancer crisis may be winding down by then.
Will Mariah keep her promise to revisit the marriage discussion by popping the question? A “Teriah” proposal could be in the works.
In the meantime, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) will do what he does best and self-sabotage. There’ll be issues for Theo and Lola Rosales (Sasha Calle), but they won’t be the only duo on shaky ground.
Summer Newman (Hunter King) and Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) will also have some problems to deal with – and Summer’s scheming may be the main reason why.
