TLC 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days spoilers tease that Big Ed Brown has been dealing with a lot in the past few weeks. Since the show began airing 8 weeks ago, Ed has been subject to an onslaught of fan reactions about his on-screen romance with Rosemarie Vega. As viewers know, much of the drama has centered on Ed’s culture shock over Rosemarie’s living conditions in the Philippines.
Ed was horrified to see how Rosemarie really lived, and now on the show he’s started to seriously worry that she might be using him as her meal ticket to America. Well, in a recent exclusive video chat with Entertainment Tonight, Ed talked a bit about his experiences, and he shared some things, including how he feels about online haters.
During the interview, when asked about the online haters, Ed said: “You have to be able to love yourself and laugh at yourself to be happy, and that’s why it doesn’t bother me…I can take it because I put myself out there…I’m having a lot of fun. I’m getting a lot more love right now than hate, so that helps.”
Another subject that came up in the interview was the rumor that’s circulating over social media that Rosemarie is now engaged to another woman. When confronted with that rumor, Ed had the following to say: “You know, half the stuff I read online – not like half the stuff, more like 90% of the stuff I read online – is not true.”
Ed continued: “It’s people grabbing information, and bits and bits of information, and they’re just creating fake news. They don’t know what’s going on. I know what’s going on in my heart.” And when pressed about whether Rosemarie engaged to a woman, Ed finally said, “I have no idea.”
And what about those throwback photos showing Ed in younger days? As you might have seen, some photos from the late 80s-early 90s have been circulating the internet showing a younger, tanner, thinner Ed.
Ed was good-natured about the photos during the interview, noting that he was dating his now ex-wife at the time one of the photos was taken.
Ed noted that, like many of us, he fluctuates when it comes to his weight. “I fluctuate through my life, I’m fit one year, and not the next.” Ed noted that people say a lot of things to him, but his most frequent comments are that he needs to lose weight and that he needs to cut his hair.
Ed also noted that he has a personal weight goal, and he’d like to drop 35 pounds by August 29th. Still, Ed’s general tone during the interview was that he was happy with himself and his life, and that’s great to see!
We’ll see what the next episode of the show brings, but the previews indicate that Ed is going to have another difficult conversation with Rosemarie, this time about the fact that her sister previously asked Ed for money. Ed is shown in the previews asking Rosemarie if she knew that her sister was going to ask for the money, so this could signal some new problems for the pair.
