TLC 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days spoilers tease that Lisa Hamme and Usman Umar have finally gotten some good news about their marriage plans. As viewers of the reality show know, Lisa and Usman have been trying desperately to get the blessing of Umar’s mother for their union. Lisa and Usman are deeply in love and want to get married, but they need the blessing of Usman’s mom in order to do so.
Usman’s mom walked away from their first meeting together, which was a terrible sign. Then Usman and Lisa got Usman’s brother Muhammed Umar to lobby on their behalf, and then Lisa went with the mom to pray in the mosque, hoping that this would soften her somewhat to their union. But that didn’t work either, and Usman’s mom refused to give her blessing.
Well, in the sneak peek for this Sunday’s new episode of the show that recently dropped on TLC Go, Usman and Lisa finally got some good news when Usman’s mom gave her blessing and said “yes” to their union!
This came at literally the very last second, and Usman and Lisa were sweating bullets at their final meeting with Usman’s mom. It was a make or break moment, and finally Usman’s mom said that she accepted them as a couple. Lisa and Usman were quite relieved and nearly broke down in tears out of sheer joy.
But none of this means that things will be smooth sailing for the couple from here. And Usman’s final statement in the sneak peek seem to foreshadow some ongoing problems that the couple will have. “I’m so relieved that we got my mother’s blessing,” Usman said. “But there are still some kind of problems that I see persisting and I want to discuss then before we get married.”
Usman continued: “I am wishing Lisa can work on her jealousy and being controlling, and I hope and pray this problem should not continue after our marriage.” The couple has had problems in the past with Lisa getting jealous of the attention that Usman’s young female fans have given him, which could be what Usman is referencing here.
But given Usman’s comments, we suspect that viewers will see the couple struggle with more of Lisa’s control and jealousy issues. Now that the issue of whether they can get married is behind them, we expect to see then go forward with wedding plans…that is, if Lisa’s behavior doesn’t spark more problems for the couple!
Of course, when and if the couple does get married and Usman moves to the US to further his career as a rapper, the couple will surely have to deal with more fan issues, which could bring out Lisa’s jealous side some more.
